Penix under pressure compared to Daniels is night and day…..

His accuracy falls off an absolute cliff when he’s pressured it was ugly to watch. Outside of Jayden being a much better athelte he’s much better making throws under duress compared to penix. The media spent all week talking about how penix should’ve gotten bigger heisman consideration…. Look like absolutely goofballs

He hurt his shoulder near the end of the year but before that injury he was starting to come on. He has a phenomenal game against mizzou and many GA fans think he is their most natural cover corner. Elite long speed and super fluid. Type of corner you can leave on an island against elite receivers. Plays wirh a ton of confidence

Usc got a loaded wr room all those freshmen studs what made plays for them in the bowl game will only get better. Gotta find some dudes in the backend

Yea it’s looking tough. Stamps seems to be our best cover guy. Every catch he gave up he was in phase I like his speed and fluidity but he has to get stronger he got outmuscled a couple times down the field hopefully he makes a year 2 jump we are going to need him too.
Agree on toviano just doesn’t have the natural short area burst and long speed you look for in an elite cb.

Those young guys were out there battling man and playing with true purple and gold heart despite having one of the worst Dc’s in CFB . I truly hope Kelly upgrades the defensive staff and gives these young tigers a chance to reach their high ceilings

I truly think we’re we’re playing toviano out of position. The kid is absolutely a safety he does not have the long speed to play corner but he absolutely has the instincts to be a great safety. Jk Johnson hopefully being next year and Ashton stamps continuing to improve along with zy coming back should allow us to move toviano back to his natural position.

BK has leveled up recruiting when it comes to the offensive trenches but damn is he slacking when it comes to DB recruiting. That has to improve fast

Transfers to Alabama. Damn rlly wished we would’ve been on him more but it’s obvious our db reputation isn’t the best rn. Hopefully we make a run at AJ Harris out of Georgia we need to add a high upside cb to this room.

They had the worse DC in the country impossible to succeed when your put they in awful positions. This was a guy every school included lsu wanted

Our offense was historically dominant this year. However, a part of me wonders Jus how much scarier this offense would’ve been if boutte returned this year in better shape and a better attitude. He easily would’ve raised his stock and put up even better numbers playing with this version of Jayden. Boutte, Thomas and nabers would’ve been unfair

Despite being plagued by bad cb play all season, young corners like stamps, toviano and Hughes got valuable snaps. We know zy will be a starter at one of the cb spots for sure but it is a wide open competition opposite of him. Which corner do you guys think will make the biggest bowl game and off-season jump?

Was once commited to us in our 2021 recruting class but decommitted. Losing his commitment turned out to be tuff miss. He’s gone on to be one of the best corners in CFB and a clear cut top 15 pick, if we had him this year go along with this offense a lot would’ve changed but that’s the nature of recruiting decommitments happen but damn what if….
