Because Kiffin has coached my team before and I have watched him for almost 20 years. I wouldn’t expect a sidewalk fan to watch. Either way he didn't coach and they won so we know him not coaching was the right move for two games at least
He typically goes for it on 4th and 9 or 4th and 10?

Kiffin shouldve beaten LSU with Jaxon Dart in Death Valley but his own stupidity of going for it makes it that he has zero wins in Death Valley lol
I don't think you actually watch football.
He was 2/3 on 4th downs in that game, the one they missed was a 4th & 1 at the LSU 4.
They missed a field goal on 4th and 5 from the LSU 15.
Made one on 4th and 4 at the LSU 32, made one on 4th and 10 at the LSU 18, made one on 4th and 5 at the LSU 19, made one on 4th and 25 at the LSU 40.
I think Kiffin definitely should take the points on more of these 4th and short situations, but I'm not sure where this narrative that Pete was kicking field goals when Lane wouldn't have, comes from.

He wouldn’t have bc he wouldn’t have made it alive out of Oxford had he coached in the first, the fans wouldn’t have let him coach on our sideline if he was on his way to LSU. If he was going to the NFL, maybe, but other than that it would’ve gotten ugly real quick.

First one that comes to mind is Florida last year. We went for it 7 times on 4th down, and kicked 2 forth down FGs.
2 were on drives which resulted in TDs (one was done already in FG range, one was on our own side of the 50).
5 were on drives which resulted in a turnover on downs. 5 of those 5 attempts occured within FG range (longest would have been a 55 yard attempt)
The Bama game a couple years ago was really aggregious.
Oklahoma last year was mostly just one really stupid decision to go for it on his own 21 yard line up 2 scores in the 3rd quarter.

Sometimes. More typical is a run / short pass on 3rd and 9 to make it a 4th and 5 type attempt. He likes to treat 3rd down like 2md down.

Are you talking about the Florida game you lost (2024)? Stats say Ole Miss was 2/4 on 4th down in that game.
The two turnovers were on 4th and 1 at the FLA 11 and 4th and 1 at the FLA 10.

And they were the two most brilliant plays ever called.
I knew we had lost that game when our 5th best wideout started at tailback.

He can spout this stupid shite all he wants. Literally nobody from Ole Miss wanted him to coach the playoffs.
And cost yourselves a NC in the process.

So, all he would have had to do was tell LSU to hold the offer until after the season?
I know. Would have never worked.
He still would have Schlossnagled it.

LSU was willing to wait; apparently, Carter & Co said he couldn't coach in the postseason without signing the extension.

You can look it up yourself so you can see your offensive “savant” at work.

Maybe he could leave college girls alone. Yeah right. Neither is very likely with that man.

This little bitch will never get over the fact that Pete fricking Golding took Lane’s team and beat Georgia in the same season Lane couldn’t get it done.

BS….LSU was never going to allow him to coach Ole Miss in the playoff. Don’t care what anyone says.

You dickbreaths need to stop listening to that clown but you can't because your breath reeks of dick.

We let the assistants stay there. If he had made that a condition, our only other option would've been to hire someone else.
