The play-by-play is also on the internet.

Ya know….for your research.

No shite, but it doesn't show the specific play called. Just "1 yd run by xyz".

We had 121 rushing yards on 22 attempts. 73 of which came on 1 attempt in the 2nd quarter in which our starting running back got hurt. Without it, we were averting 2.3 ypc. And again, our starting RB got hurt.

On the other end, Miami had 191 yards rushing and dominated TOP as a result (48 min).

There’s the facts. I watched the game. Where does Lane help with a hurt starting RB mid game and the inability to run the ball as well as the other team?

Now who's the one looking at stats instead of watching the games?

I was mostly fricking around with Lane throwing out the “perception” defense in bringing up Ole Miss/Mississippi racism. I actually agree with most times he goes for it. I do think he would’ve gone for one of the field goals in the UGA game at least. He likes to be aggressive early in games and do things to put the defense on edge against his own tendencies. It works sometimes. Other times you get the 2022 Texas Bowl.

Where did I say looking at stats to explain a game was bad?

You're doing it right now. "Watch the game instead. Oh well, read the PBP instead."

Then watch the game. Or just continue to be a lazy researcher.

Does he go for it on 4th and 5+ a lot though? I genuinely don't know.

I know he's probably too aggressive on 4th and short, BK was that way too.

The worst was the aforementioned Texas bowl where he did it 2 or 3 times. I think he has matured over time with more trust in his defense as Pete came in and calmed down a bit. I do think it’s a function of how much he trusts the defense.

To be honest, I don’t even remember. Which is likely how bad they were.

He went for it a few times inside his own 30

I was actually surprised how restrained he was last season with the defense taking a step back from 2024.

I love how OM fans have already claimed PG is the best coach in their history

Born on 3rd for sure

What about when he goes 8-4 this year? You had your best year in 60 years and didn’t even win the conference
