We didn't have any SEC night games in 2022 either

Well, you had 2 CBS games at home. That was the #1 slot in 2022. The Egg Bowl was a night game. That's 3 of your 4 SEC home games

I hope he doesn't realize almost all of Alabama's games thus far have been on ABC.

It's the only reason I've watched so many of them.

Firtst Kiffin comes off a little bit like a whiner here.

Second, had his team handled business and met expectations Incan assure you that Georgia/OM would have been a night game.

I hate halfway defending Kiffin.

They should give LSU 2 11am games and 3 2:30pm games and see how their fans like it. We simply wanted one and it didn't matter which one.

GA @ Ole Miss at 2:30 pm + AL @ LSU at 6:30 pm > AL @ LSU at 2:30 pm + GA @ Ole Miss at 6:30 pm

Why does that piss you off? It's all about TV Ratings. If you want night games, figure out a way to get more people to watch your games. And before you claim big school bias.. See Colorado.

On that topic, perhaps Ole Miss should hire Deion after Lane goes to Florida. Maybe then, they would get some night games.

They should make it fair and scale it out.

No they shouldn’t. Get lost with all that socialism BS.

This is about money. The conference doesn’t pick the times, TV does. They are picking entirely based on what will yield them the best results (viewers). There is no way in hell they’re going turn down better money/viewership just to make Joey Freshwater feel good.

Lose to Kentucky, this is what you get. Plain and simple.

Maybe he shouldn't have lost to Kentucky and this weekends matchup would be a lot more attractive.

Some people win, some people bitch about fairness at a press conference. Which of these would you like to be Coach Freshwater?

I don't really care about the time of our games but I think part of it is lsu is getting a competitive advantage having their games at night. Think everyone would agree atmospheres are louder and more difficult to play on for opposing teams at night. LSU's two biggest home games this year are against ole Miss and Alabama. Both games are at night and lsu had byes before both games. Think that might help a little bit. I'd bet there is a 3 point swing in the betting line if lsu plays bama at night coming off a bye vs them playing someone the week before and the game at 2:30

It may have something to do with Brand, name recognition, history, etc, etc, etc.
LSU wins that battle against OM every time.

That's totally Irrelevant. LSU fans and their sense of entitlement regarding night games is pathetic. However, this thread is about Kiffen's pathetic whining, not LSU's whining. Let's not derail it.

When did teams other than LSU start caring about having night games? For a long time, nobody else cared, but suddenly its the "in" thing to do so now everyone wants it.

LSU at night is the way it is intended it to be.

No one cares about Ole Miss - also the way it is intended it to be.

LSU-Bama gets the nod, because LSU-Bama has historically been a big game and a good one.

Ole Miss beats UGA and makes a run to finish the season, and they'll get night games next year.

One of the most famous sayings in CFB is : It's Saturday Night in Death Valley.

LSU at night is a nationally known concept.

Whereas Ole Miss is known for gas station chicken on a stick.
