In no particular order, I expect Fickell, Aranda, and Napier to get some interviews. They make a lot of sense.

I’d also like to see Mark Stoops in the discussion. Franklin wouldn’t be a disappointment.

I understand that LSU is a better head coaching job than Ole Miss, but that's kinda crazy that Kiffin's odds are so high at this point in Kiffin's tenure in Oxford.

If it’s Bill O’Brien LSU fan base will tear itself apart

It won't be Kiffin. After our last 2 coaches, we don't want another guy that could get himself into hot water off the field.

Lane isn't going to LSU. Only other SEC team he'd leave for at this point would be Alabama.

I can't see Woodward jumping from one loose cannon to Joey Bayouwater.

Ole Miss’ potential isn’t much lower than LSU’s and it’s ok to win 8 or 9 games there whereas if you win 8/9 games in back to back years at LSU you’re at least on the hot seat if not fired.

You know with those odds I guess it’s worth dropping 10 bucks on and hoping some crazy shite happens

Something seems a bit fricky imagining Kiffin leaving after 2 seasons to go to a divisional opponent. Almost like he’s made a mistake like that before

I know. It is odd in this day and age to have a Head Coach that shows loyalty to his school. I will say it is nice to have a coach that isn't spending his every waking hour quietly lobbying for another job.

Ahem.

Not that I am saying Lane Kiffin would ever do that to Ole Miss.

Again, I'm not sure Fickell jumps at LSU. He's a Midwest guy. If the wheels come off at Ohio State he's the unofficial head coach in waiting for all intents and purposes.

For most of us, LSU would be the obvious choice. For Fickell the dream destination job is Ohio State.

I don't get the hype with this guy. He fell flat with the Raiders, had maybe one good season at USC, and the rest of his head coaching career is unimpressive at best.

As for this year, Ole Miss got leveled by the one good team they have played, and needed near miracles to beat Arkansas and Tennessee.
