Jedrick Wills, Henry Ruggs, Jerry Juedy, Bryce Young, and Will Anderson all top 15 picks played in meaningless bowl games for Bama.
The only Bama player to opt out was Trevon Diggs and he fail to the 2nd round.

Honestly, a salty vagina sounds delicious. Much better than some alternatives.
That said, it is disappointing. It's selfish, but I would just like you see the kid play another game at LSU. Great talent. I do not like the trend in CFB where bowls are simply irrelevant.
The 12 team playoff is going to see starters sitting with 1-3 weeks to play. It's only going to get worse.

With there being a playoff ever expanding it does make the other bowl games way less relevant. They should be treated like exhibition games basically. If you're going to the NFL just let the next guy up play to prepare for next year. I'd honestly rather watch those guys play and see the future for games that have zero meaning.

Dont know why people think this. They arent going to skip their CCG.
And being a Top 4 seed is a big deal because it gets you a 1st round bye, teams arent just going to get to 11-0 and have star players sit out the next 2 games because they'll simply be i nthe playoff.
The difference in a Top 4 seed and a 9-12 seed is playing an extra playoff game and having to travel on the road.
