re: First timer in New Orleans

Welcome to NOLA. My son is an LSU graduate who lives in Milwaukee. It sounds as if you do not want to dress up to go to a restaurant; that is how I feel about things as well. If you want to go somewhere that has good cocktails, pretty good food, and a great atmosphere, I urge you to try the Rusty Nail. I know the owner of Katie's, and it is the perfect NOLA neighborhood restaurant; it is located in Mid City/ go here for the food, not the drinks. Galatoire's is on Bourbon and is a great restaurant, one of the more famous old school places in NOLA. Go during the day. You should make reservations, and you do not have to dress up/ jeans and a nice polo shirt are good. If you want to enjoy some cocktails mixed with premium liquor by a world renowned mixologist, go to Revel. Chris McMillian owns Revel and is also a master mixologist. If he is not working the bar, he will come out to talk to you about cocktails; be prepared to get a detailed lesson.

re: Where is your favorite fishing?

Biloxi Marsh on a falling tide beginning in late October.
$150 is tough to do, but try a Lews' Mach 1 rod
and a Pflueger President XT spinning reel. This should come in just a bit north of $150.
Spears and Hill were edges. Brown is very quick and athletic. I think he can be a great left end.
Go past Fourchon and go to Elmer's Island and fish the surf or go to Grand Isle and fish off the fishing pier by Bridgeside Marina
Billy Truax. It is a shame Duhe never had chance to show what he could do.
Ride in and hitch your horse to the post. Go to local cathouse, have fun, get clean, get on horse and leave town.
Glad to hear it assuming he can still play

NCAA has appealed; this will not go anywhere.

I bought a pair; they do a good job.
bullshite. Kiffin has been given more than any LSU coach in history in terms of salary and program support. He needs to win and go to the playoffs; anything else is unacceptable.

I just love this shot of RC stylin wit dat suit and the RC lapel pin.

I thought that was a bellboy for the Ritz-Carlton
The Jamie Howard debacle vs Auburn. I do not blame Howard for what happened. The coaches threw away (pun intended) what should have been an easy victory against Auburn.

Well Morgus, I think Chopsley is more athletic than Ream.

The guy with the pony tail and the guy with the Afro are absolutely terrible. The guy with the pony tail is a total liability when we have the ball. All he does is stand behind the ball and when he gets it, he just makes a short kick to the wing or kicks it right back to the guy that passed him the ball. He is pitiful. When he needed to open his hips on the move to try and prevent a goal he fell down.
I have never understood the Dead being held in such high esteem; in my opinion, they are terrible.
