One of those looks like a football stadium, the other looks like an amusement park.

I like the one that looks like a football stadium.

I like the jacksonville idea. It is an easy drive pretty much for all SEC schools.

Shreveport

My suggestion would be that there are 2 possible locations for the SECC, and the higher seed gets to choose. Atlanta being one and Independence Stadium in Shreveport being the other.

Holy frick. This is the worst idea of all time.

The average winner of the SEC Championship game drives 3.87 Hrs to Atlanta

Probably because the 2 teams with the most wins are Alabama and Florida and they have combined to win more than 50% of the SECCGs.

Agreed. Game needs to rotate. If that means acc moves their championship game to Atlanta, so be it.

These morons in this thread don’t understand. Shreveport is a world class city, unlike the dump Atlanta is.

So you mean to tell me LSU hasn’t played in SECCG in 8 years; and y’all can’t have enough fans get here to make it the game closed to 50-50. Mean isn’t this the greatest LSU team of all time; hell a generational team we haven’t seen since the likes of OU , Nebraska, of the U. Maybe be the best team of all time. And y’all can’t travel.. really.

WOW!!!

The SECC being in Atlanta every year is a huge advantage to some teams and a huge disadvantage to others.

Not surprised.

SEC West champs, likely SEC champs and CFP bound...still finding shite to whine about.

It does need to rotate but the rotation should be:

Atlanta, New Orleans and Dallas

Why would the GA Dome be ok with that?

I agree that it should be played in the old Cotton Bowl in Dallas.

Having a stadium on standby is unrealistic.

Atlanta has an airport where anyone can get there in one flight.

Get over it, Atlanta is the most convenient realistic location for every team but LSU and A&M, and neither make the game frequently enough to seriously warrant a discussion

Also this I’m connecting in Atlanta this morning and just watched a plane come in from New Orleans with probably 200 saints fans get off. You LSU people should look into the wonders of air travel
