They're actually advocating a move from the nicest facility in the country, within the city limits of the most efficient airport in the world to the nastiest city in America into a facility that likely has AIDS.

Why not rotate between New Orleans, Atlanta and Nashville (best location imo).
Nashville is outdoors. They aren't going to do that again. New Orleans already has the Sugar Bowl. Atlanta has the best stadium and best public transportation.

Atlanta is easily the best option for the vast majority of the conference considering you often don't know for sure who's playing until 7 days in advance.

Louisiana is the Shreveport of America. There's not a single town in that state worth breaking down in, including New Orleans.

Not going to happen. The Benz is one of the finest stadium in the world and Atlanta is centralized and can provide great entertainment for fans, similar to Shreveport.

NO oh the shite hole stadium that can’t keep the lights on . That pos is 20 years past demolition status but Louisiana is so damn poor they can’t afford to tear it down and build something else . There’s a reason Mercedes Bens is in Atlanta and once there naming rights are up the super dome
Will
Be nameless again .

As a whole, LSU fans are the whiniest people in sports.

No way. Maybe, maybe in Nashville but it can be pretty cold up there.

This is with the average SEC west drive being 6.5 hours to Atlanta.

Let’s be real, most years it’s only 2-3 for the West champ.

How about Nashville? Vandy will never at in it and if they somehow do the other team will have way more fans.

It’s never going to move..

The current deal is through 2026, however the SEC has extension clauses to 2031 & 2036.

It’s the most central location and the Benz Dome is brand new and state of the art. Only other options in the SEC footprint are Nashville, Dallas and maybe one of the Florida NFL stadiums. It’s fine where it is.

Nashville is the best place. Yes, the weather is unpredictable. It could be cold, warm or raining. But the NFL playoffs are held in the same elements. Isn’t football meant to be an outdoor sport?
