Atlanta is great for the SECCG
- Signed, LSU fan that lives in Atlanta

The only other city that makes some sense would be Nashville, but that would just become a Vandy home game every year!

My suggestion would be that there are 2 possible locations for the SECC, and the higher seed gets to choose. Atlanta being one and Independence Stadium in Shreveport being the other.

LOL

Let me think about this. Shreveport or Atlanta. Atlanta or Shreveport

This suggestion ranks as one of the most stupid ever on this board, and there have been a lot of tremendously stupid ones.

Take the outlier (LSU) out of that

Why? LSU is one of the farthest teams from Atlanta, and yet has a 0.800 win% in the SECCG.

it's a lovely city, actually.

Atlanta is a neutral site and has the nicest stadium. The SECCG should be held there.

There is a lot to do in Atlanta to make the trip worthwhile.

However, it is a congested, crowded city ran by racists in the city government. Some areas are very dangerous especially if you wander into them.

Nothing about Atlanta is "lovely".

The above is true of every city.

Let's just say Atlanta has more of those areas than most.

Its fine for football, since its just two teams per year, and most schools rarely go.

Rotating sites for everything else where multiple teams go every year makes sense. Give fans a shot to see their teams compete. Baseball in Hoover is the dumbest shite in the SEC.

In the SEC footprint only two cities make sense for this game and both have similar crime issues and in fact the other is worse (NO).

Imo if the sec tried a rotation the acc would make an offer to Atlanta for their game to be there every year and mbs would likeky accept. So I think if sec stops plays there every year they’ll lose the venue completely.

One nice thing about Atlanta is it is a dome when in dec makes a difference. I remember pics of the acc game in Charlotte with the fans freezing in the stands. The more comfortable for fans the more that will come.

Do LSU fans complain about everything? It’s always stuff that doesn’t bother anyone else.

This is true.

I'm not in favor of moving the game. It needs to stay in Atlanta.

I was just pointing out that "lovely" is a very inaccurate description of Atlanta.

Alabama
Florida
Georgia
Auburn

have all been to the SEC title game more times than LSU, which is tied with Tennessee at #5.

For a city it has plenty of lovely areas. I wouldn’t recommend visitors go south of I-20 or or west of downtown.

Lovely is a lady, but Atlanta has more upscale districts and neighborhoods than any city in the Southeast.
