What does he have to do? Looking at Florida’s schedule I can’t see them winning another game this season, might as well go ahead and cut him loose.

He's a really nice man and Florida is lucky to have him as head ball coach

I've heard rumors that a contract extension is in the works.

Should fire him and turn it over to Ron Roberts for the rest of the season.

What’s his current buyout?

ETA: just looked, it’s currently at $19.3M if fired today. Half would be owed within 30 days, then the remaining half to be paid out in annual installments until 2028. No offset for another job.

Who would really want to jump in right now and coach Florida's remaining 10 games against mostly ranked teams?

I think they beat LSU this weekend. LSU”s o-line couldn’t push back or handle the d-line of LA tech. With their center out, LSU won’t be able to move the ball. You’re looking at a 10-6 game this weekend and could go either way.

Florida will start 2-4 and then finish 7-5 and his job will be saved because they got hot at the end of the season again

Give the man time! It’s impossible to put together a winning roster in less than 4 years.

$19.3MM is pretty damn good bargain for a guy that has underperformed the previous coaches through 40 games. Of course, it might make for financial sense for them if the buyout drops significantly once the season is over.

If he gets 5 wins he’ll be back and the UAA will just make him hire an OC

Maybe 4

But 3-9 should be enough to get him fired

Don't worry, he will be available for South Carolina to hire soon enough.

Florida has had the hardest schedule the last two seasons...no one except maybe Saban would dominate that schedule

Napier went 8-5 last year! not bad for that schedule

We just need to play more complimentary football and execute in the red area.
