That could be a good thing. You never know.
Bama has only been in the SECCG once in the last 3 years.

Maybe not. If we had Clemson's schedule I could see us making the playoffs again.

I'm not saying you'll be a bad team or collapse. Just don't expect to do what you just did.

If you told me we would be in the National Title game every four years, and only every four years, I'd take it.

This thread reeks of serious arse hurt.
C'mon, bama fan. Act like you been there.
Now is the time for congratulating LSU on an incredible season.
And this is the first time in months I get say job well done to an Aggie Poster. Cheers

While I'm all for saying forget the past, it's a little early to expect a come down after the natty to worry about next year.

Bama got back who we needed
That's funny, because many of you were all giddy to think Tua would be back, and well, nope
Let's be hoenst here, you're now faced losing your best QB of all time and replacing him with a true freshman who could be good down the line but certainly will go through some growing pains or Greg McElroy part 2.

Bama got back who we needed, and is in a bit different position. Remember we had a QB that played and started some real games because of Tua's injury, so we know what he can do.
4 starters back on the OL. plus others that logged starts. All the RB's and TE's back. Smith and Waddle. We have a LOT of offense back.
Not to mention we should be better on D, particularly in the front 7. We do have to replace our OLB's and there will be some turnover in the secondary, but I think we'll be good there. We have people that got some starts coming back.
I will somewhat agree with you antibarner. Bama's QB situation, even with the losses of 2 top WR and big time LT, and Tua of course, is in a good position. Mac did make 4 starts and has that "start" in one of the hornet nest stadiums (JH) that you have play in the SEC. I am not sold on Mond at Texas A&M, and Bo Nix has 13 starts but can Gus do what Coach O did, update his passing game? In the East, UGA getting the transfer from Wake is big, the guy can play and UF probably has the best returning QB in the league.
So I think Bama can make the case of being in the 3rd best position in the SEC going into next year, with the top 2 being in the East (UF and UGA). Mac, Mond, and Nix, to me are not much different. Mond I have seen for 2 years, both under Jimbo. At this point he is what he is, which is average. Nix has a chance, but Gus?
Brennan has the tools, has now translate to the pocket presence, pre-snap and post-snap reads, etc. Early key game is obviously Texas week 2. Get pass that, I think we have 3 games that LSU should win to get to 5-0 vs. Florida. At that point, Brennan's first SEC hornets nest type road stadium start.

Cocka Doodle Doo you crimson bitch. Melt all day...
O is the driving force behind the machine that will continue to make you all STTDB...
It must feel strange to know we coming... especially know that we came...
Assistant coaches will reload. The talent reloads and we continue to make you STTDB

Kudos to the Shrimpboat Captain, he showed he can drive a boat for sure. It was a storybook year for Joe Burrow and the entire LSU Football Program.
Now the price of success is being paid. It's not a bad thing, really. Your coaches and players are cashing in on their hard work and success, and they earned it.
There was a lot of crowing and cock a doodle doo when Bama's juniors were deciding what they were going to do and I told you your turn in the barrel was coming, and it's here. And they are flocking to the draft.
Next year's team, honestly, has been gutted. Oh, the cupboard ain't bare, but you won't repeat. LSU will be rebuilding without a doubt. Good Luck.
LSU. All day. Erry Day. In your head.
LOVE the energy. Keep it.
Don't forget. We are NOT your rival.
