Is Florida’s running game that good or is Ole Miss’ defense that bad?

Yes, I’m sure it’s some combination of both. But Ole Miss has a shitty fricking defense this year.

This is what your D is. It was bad last year too. Chambliss just made yall delusional. I said after the game that Chambliss has to be almost perfect to beat good teams. He played unbelievable and Leavitt played like trash and LSU still almost forced OT. Ole Miss is just a very flawed team. Now LSU is very flawed too. But I’m realistic and know this isn’t a championship team for my Tigers. I tried telling Ole Miss fans that win over LSU was like BKs win over Bama. Gave the fanbase false confidence. Chambliss and JD5 are just studs.

That’s true. As much shite as I gave LSU last week, the defense was overly motivated to beat Kiffin. Ole Miss has a below average defense (see week 1,2 and 4).

I only saw the 4th quarter of the FL game but from what the announcers said, the offense was running with a lot of tricks and misdirection. Faulkner ran a similar style against UGA in the overtime game and it works.

Baugh is a beast, but Buster Faulkner was probably the best hire any SEC team made this year.

UF is salty on the ground. Probably would give Ole Miss fits on the ground no matter how you slice it.
It was also a terrible spot for Ole Miss coming into the swamp against a rabidly excited fanbase and UF program after the LSU prep and game.
Idk if UF’s defense or QB will do them many favors against a team that can slow their run game, if there are any.

Ole Miss defense, especially outside of Echoles is trash. LSU playcalling was atrocious for the bulk of the first half and they were not even trying to run the running backs early. Second half, you saw what LSU’s offense did to them.
That said, Baugh is a beast and the UF OL is legit at run blocking.

I think the Ole Miss D is not good at moment. Im a little perplexed because I think the dline is good or suppose to be

New QB, new WRs, and new Oline. I'll take it, offense still have time to gel. After that abomination from Brian Kelly last year, I think we'll be better than OK..

Little bit of both, but I think it’s more about Ole Miss trained the entire offseason for their 3rd game of the season.

It's bad but it isn't as bad as they showed yesterday. They didn't seem motivated at all.

You will note, Ole Miss was playing way above their heads on emotion in the first half. In the second half, LSU started focusing on the run, and completely erased the deficit.
Even after Ole Miss scored the eventual winning TD, LSU came right back down the field, primarily by running the ball.
Ole Miss has a bad defense, plain and simple. They're going to need to score 30+ to win games.
