The issue is that the SEC has decided to arbitrarily and inconsistently create rules on the fly and then enforce them inconsistently.

There was no such action taken not only on rostering but also in playing a "professional" basketball player against Alabama.

There is the use of anonymous sources from a news article to claim a coach and school did something against previously non-existent conference rules, which are then being applied retroactively or at least threatened to be applied retroactively.

I am all for getting this shite under control, but the way the SEC is going about it is utterly hypocritical, inconsistent, and applying it significantly to one school while letting others actually do worse (rostering and platying pros) to get away with it.

They could also have dirt on other programs that recruited them just the same as LSU but once they picked LSU simply said "We didn't do nothin'.

They are breaching the current agreement, and unless they can find an adequate replacement that can be demonstrated to provide equal value to LSU, the shitheads at ESPN could have a case and force a reduction in the money per school, especially seeing as they would lose a TV market, even if small.

The SEC, Sankey, and other schools are stupid enough to think this is an identical situation to Texas Tech and Sorsby, but ignoring the fact that the AG of Texas threatened to sue any programs that refused to play Texas Tech or boycott them within their conference.

My guess is what I always thought would stop this madness, which is academic eligibility.

Most players are on the bare minimum for requirements towards their degrees to remain eligible with perhaps a class or two buffer. If the kid didn’t go to classes in the Spring and then Summer to make it up, he should be ineligible.

Who knows though. Could be Sark trying to cover for the fact he rostered an ineligible player.

Ole Miss at 7 is a complete joke. They needed Louisville to make bonehead play after bonehead play to win the game.

Let them have it. The guy is good, not great, and needed atrocious db play to get his yards.

This Ole Miss team is likely going to go 7-5 and 8-4 at best.

Louisville may be the 9th best team they play this year, and Ole Miss still needed them to shoot themselves in the foot over and over to only win by 3. :lol:
