Of course Bama fans would disagree but after a while Bama's dominance gets boring for rest of the league. That sec championship game was a snoozefest.

Poor play from other teams makes it boring. Excellence should never be criticized.

def.

SEC now reminds me of ACC in the 90s with FSU.

the other issue is the offenses in general aren't that exciting to watch.

Sort of.

The rest of the SEC's inability to establish a true second best team that can challenge Alabama is what's boring.

Bama is stupid good and consistent. It's not their fault Florida, LSU, Auburn, Tennessee, Texas A&M, and Georgia have had inexperienced or dopey head coaches at the end of their careers.

Someone will knock Bama off one day but it's going to take better coaching than what we have in the SEC right now. By then, it'll look like Saban was at the end of his career anyway.

Rhetorical question. And yes... yes it is.

Like others have said, it's not Alabama, but the rest of the league that's the problem.

The only team in the league with a consistently competent offense went 5-7 because it seemed like nearly 3/4 of their two-deep was injured this year.

I agree. It's a sad day when fans have to wait for a big OOC neutral site game and the playoffs to get excited. Maybe it's time to discuss a national super conference creation.

Not quite sure what the multitude of post about Alabama's success = downfall of CFB is all about. According to these posts everything would be "better" if Alabama was mediocre. What? That totally goes against the reasons for having athletic programs. The main goal of sports is to WIN. Saban doesn't have an unfair advantage. He simply works harder. He simply works smarter. According to the cry babies here and elsewhere we'd be much better off if we all went 7 and 5 each year. The S in SEC doesn't stand for socialism.

I'm sure it is for the usual big dogs who can only watch Bama push their shite in. I know if LSU or Auburn were dominating like this I would be bored. The SEC title game is usually a snooze fest. LSU beat down Georgia in 2011. The last good game was 2012.

It is for me. I miss when LSU, Florida and a couple others were regular powerhouses. Not just in terms of winning tSEC, but overall. I don't watch a lot of SEC games, but miss when I was excited for Bama/UF, LSU/UF, LSU/Auburn, etc without going into the game with a good idea of the outcome.

Alabama can have I believe 85 scholarship players. News flash! Same as all other schools.

Big news flash- plenty of 4 and 5 star players left after bama gets theirs.

Quit hatin bama and start winning. That will fix everything.

I honestly don't care as much. Another Bama SEC title. It doesn't even matter anymore. What's one more when everyone knows you're the best?

Alabama has once again raised the bar. It is time for the other teams to respond once more.

When you are racing against Usain Bolt, you have to find some way to get faster.

Bama is by far the most exciting team in the league. The best thing the SEC has going for it. It is the rest of league sucking that brings it down. If you guys are upset about the Big 10 being better, and that the second place team has 4 lossses, then don't blame Bama, they are undefeated and the most respected program in the country. Bama is clearly doing their part, you should blame your schools.

The only thing that Bama has been somewhat responsible for in making the entire SEC suck is that 8 or so years ago a lot of decent coaches were run-off because they weren't doing as well as Saban and now we're stuck with a bunch of young coaches who seem to have no idea what they're doing

This post, and beliefs similar to this, are downright unAmerican.

You can never be too great. It's up to others in the conference to step the frick up. Competition right? Makes everyone better.
