Clemson as a program has a pretty good track record against the SEC. keep in mind Clemson rarely plays the worse SEC teams

Tenn losing bad will likely hurt the SEC's push to get more guaranteed bids for the SEC.

Clemson almost got it to within 7 points with 7 minutes left. Couldn't convert a 4th and short on the goalline.

SC wants credit for playing in the SEC but it didn't even play Tenn, Texas or Georgia.
i feel like SC needs to have at least one win over Tenn, Texas, UGA, Bama or Ole Miss to have any kind of case for being in the playoffs
