Agree. If they aren't going to play the game on Saturday as it should be, they need to tighten up the schedule. Why not move the semifinals up if there has to be a long wait and play the title game Jan 1st

I used to like neutral field games until the playoff era. Clemson's been fortunate to have success in this era, but that's a lot of travel to NFL stadiums that don't have much of a vibe.
Going down to Auburn was 10,000 times better than that year we played y'all in Atlanta.
I agree 100% about scheduling intent. It should be noted when a team has someone cancel a home-and-home so they have to play some lackey school to fill the hole, too.

In a perfect world, we'd have 8 9-team power conferences. Only way in the playoff is win your league, every conference has round robin play.
How you split the leagues, I don't care. And everyone plays major leagues OOC in an 11-game schedule. Then fans and boosters get big matchups at home that won't kill your playoff chances.
That'll never happen, but whatever they can do to beef up OOC scheduling should be No. 1 on the to-do list.

Whether what Trump said is or isn't happening isn't the point. The point is Fox News, one of the few outlets (only, maybe?) 45 has praised, brought someone on air and sold him as an expert in a field he has no experience and his connections don't exist.

I typically read AP, Reuters, BBC, and USA TODAY. USAT is nice because they offer insight and analysis based on what the networks say, so it's a one-stop shop for news.
I really enjoy New York Times and Washington Post, but they've gone too far with their "the media are heroes" narrative. I don't like when those covering the story try to become the story.
