Yeah, that sorry excuse for pass defense against Auburn was pretty bad. I remember back in Dooley's late career we had a QB with the last name of Jackson and against S Carolina one year the idiot layed the ball on the ground and took off running like he still had it. We were lucky it did not cost us the game because it was tight.

I'm torn on this one. The Stoernover was horrible. On the other hand there was the game our RB fumbled the ball, untouched, right before he crossed the goal line against Alabama and ruined our chances to finally snap our losing streak to them.

This is #1, with the failure to scoop and score in the Sugar Bowl coming in at #2. Those were bad decision plays. The Stoernover was just as freak accident, as well as Walker’s fumble against Bama.

The Xavier Carter 1-yd kneel was boneheaded enough that even as a UGA fan, I just felt sick for that kid.
Highly touted recruit...wasn’t he a 5* kid coming out of high school? Seem to remember watching him in the Army all-star game.

Hiring Ed Orgeron as HC?

There's no way we were going to win, but this one ranks up there.

Track star turned football player.
No pass catching ability and no awareness.

Yeah, mostly due to his speed which was just on another level.
Gave up football to pursue track professionally after his sophomore year, was well on his way to the Olympics before hurting his knee.

Didn’t matter though as we won it in extra innings and ended up winning the conference 'TOURNAMENT' championship anyways.

Tyler Watts fumble against Oklahoma in 2002. Alabama was down three and driving with less than two minutes left. Watts loses the ball while attempting a pass from the OU 40, OU returns it for a TD and wins by 10.

But the Jefferson spike against Ole Miss with 1 second left may be even worse, man he had some awful moments

Jordan Jefferson spiking the ball with 1 second left at Ole Miss. Les told him to do it, which was worse. I unfortunately witnessed that live in person.

the '13 hail mary I don't know if I'd necessarily say that's the best, since after all it was 2 guys trying to make a play on the ball and 1 ended up fricking up. Hard ot call that boneheaded necessarily.
what I would consider boneheaded is a total "wtf are you doing?" move. One that comes to mind is the '01 DSOR. We're down 7 and have driven down the field with time running out and no timeouts. We get down to AU's 1 yard line with like 10 seconds left and we call a run play up the middle..which we didn't get and time ran out. Taht was head scratching. We also squib kicked against tech in '16 which ultimatley led to the loss that we almost surely would have won without it.
Also the UF fans will have to expound but I believe there was a play in the late '60s against UGA that has literally come to be known as "4th and dumb" lol

This play never actually occurred. Game ended between the refs whistle and the snap. So you guys can rest easy on that one.
But he did let a fricking ton of time run off the clock two plays earlier

Garcia throwing the ball out of the back of the end zone against Alabama for a safety.
