He's not Chad Morris so he won't be the worst SEC hire since Ears Whitworth.

Not a glamorous hire but Mizzou doesn't need a glamorous hire to show up and rally a downtrodden program. You need a steady hand. He looks like he's a fairly steady hand.

He was a great hitter back in the 70's.

Mizzou would have to hire Urban to compete with Ga and Fla. And we know that's not happening.

Lot of people compare Carey’s offense to Urban’s.

RamRod is basically a smarter, more masculine version of Joe Brady.

You know, the more you look into his record, the more this guy seems like, if not a home run hire, a stand up triple.

First year at Temple. He took over for Doeren at Northern Illinois before that and did a solid job there.

Some scribe just wrote that Sterk and Big Rod used to bowl on the same league team way back when.

I'm not so sure, though. But could be.

The coach at Temple. Word is all of our big money donors hijacked the search and said only Rod Carey will do.

I hope he can bring his defense coordinator with him. Dude is a young Belichick the way the sets the front and disguises coverage packages
