Guess he's still a strong fricker. One of his players tweeted that Big Rod surprised the team by benching 300 for a few reps.

No. The man is reportedly a straight arrow, family man that's a church-goer (but doesn't wear it on his sleeve.) The work he's reportedly done for Philly charities actually moistened my eyes a little.

I heard from sources that he donates time and money to Philadelphia area Habitat for Humanity and other charities. We can only hope he continues doing that in Columbia.

Bill Laurie has removed his planes tail number from the flight tracker. Interesting.

Source just said he's a helluva recruiter despite Temple being about the worst school in the country to attract players. Word was: "Does a helluva job in a tough, tough place to get kids."

Your BS comment caused me to look up to see if I have an account, and to reply. You know less than zero about Temple University.

So what are you disputing that he's an excellent recruiter or that Temple is a tough place to recruit at?

Calling us 'the worst school in the country' is a bunch of BS.

Tough place to recruit at? We have the most NFL players in the G5 and more NFL players than:

Oregon
California
West Virginia
North Carolina
Louisville
Utah
Pittsburgh
North Carolina State
Virginia Tech
Michigan State
Missouri
Colorado
Boston College
Virginia
Illinois
Arkansas
Oklahoma State
Maryland
Northwestern
Texas Tech
Rutgers
Kentucky
Oregon State
Kansas State
Purdue
Arizona State
Vanderbilt
Indiana
Duke
Washington State
Baylor
Georgia Tech
Arizona
Wake Forest
Minnesota
Kansas
TCU
Syracuse
Iowa State

I just found a couple of nickels in my pocket. I'm going to donate one to help land this feller.

This isn't fully updated, so it might not be completely up to date. Regardless, we're either 1 or 2 with UCF, but ahead of many P5 programs. We currently have 19 in the NFL, and should add another 4-6 next year.
