You do know every PAC 12 team isn't in SoCal, right?

No, but the vast majority of the winners are there -- or are in California.

I would think Saarloos would be in line for HC at TCU if MSU does get their guy and you'd have to think he'd take the HC job over an assistant job.

TCU will always be TCU.

So they'll always be sending Aggie fans home sad?

There's not a thing wrong with his current gig.

Coach Schloss without Saarloos is a vastly different scenario. Just as it was at TCU.

This is called College Baseball.

Bianco and McDonnell would have won a CWS if they had stayed together. Cohen and Butch Thompson were pretty dang good together. Wes Johnson was brought in to help get Van Horn back upright.

Successful HC's need pitching/assistant coaches. It's the way of the world

I want Sarloos, but if we can’t get him, I’m not worried about Cohen and Schloss’ ability to bring in a pitching coach of his stature.

He'll be at the top of the list, I suspect.

Agreed.

But if you were to pin the turnaround success on something, it would have to be the addition of Saarloos. You're talking about a change from a mid-40's ranking to Top 15 since his arrival.

It was that big.

Maybe that was a selling point for State? In Starkville Schloss will have another baseball man at the top, helping him find a support staff.

Anyway, good luck TCU

Random thing: While Schloss was busy following Geautreu and our most likely draft casualties on twitter, he also followed the stud pitching coach for UNC.

Just saying.

But why would you leave the Dallas Metroplex for buttfrick Mississippi?

Because you're about to get fired for missing the postseason.

With the kind of money he was making, sure he was. Especially since he was losing the program internally, but you wont see that in the news.

We now live in a world where Bowl Jackson is getting the inside scoop on stories.

Bianco missed last year, and is a top 4 National seed this year. Was his job in jeopardy?
