Since, lets say 1950...no major wars are taking kids in the millions to defend other countries....seems decently fair. According to Google
Nationally
1. Alabama
2. Ohio State
3. Oklahoma
4. USC Trojans
5. Nebraska

SEC
1. Alabama
2. Georgia
3. Tenn
4.LSU
5. Florida

(Texas an OU are not included because they joined the SEC very recently)

LSU and Georgia are tied for second. Maybe a slight edge to Georgia but both have a pretty equal claim.

I’d put Florida over Tennessee.

Integration has not been kind to the Vols.

Tennessee is unequivocal rubbish! The order is as follows:

1. Alabama
T2. LSU and Georgia
3. Florida
4. Tennessee
5. Auburn

10rc's best years were with Roid Krammit running interference for them with the NCAA, and BAMA having to play with some walk-on's due to a player reportedly signing a napkin with an agent for $400.

Tenn has 13 SEC titles

LSU has 12

National titles
Tenn has 6
LSU has 3

So seems like it is very fair to rank Tenn higher than LSU or UF(which are so so equal in SEC, Natties, etc it is insane)

Please do not sell yourself short. I want you to be confident in yourself and in Florida. Tennessee is below us both!

We have a very bad history when population in Florida was very low. If it was the past 30 years, no question LSU and UF are above Tenn cause they have not won a CFB title since 1998. ..but they won 5 between 1935 an 1970..so not sure it would be fair to ignore them. I mean recently, there is no question LSU and UF.

1. Bama
2. UGA (kirby has changed everything)
3/4. Tennessee and LSU are pretty equal in every metric. Theres good arguments for either one over the other.
5. Auburn

Florida has been good for 2 decades out of 100 years of SEC football. They got to do something out of the 1990 to 2010 timeframe.

If you are doing of all time we’d be 3. If you are doing anything close to recent then I don’t want to participate in the conversation
