The numbers posted above show that is exactly the case. He had more opportunity against trash opponents. Mac didn't. Sorry your GOAT's numbers only held up for one season.

His accuracy all over the field, along with his quick reads (a.k.a. progressions) are his strong suit. If you'll notice he rarely misses seeing an open receiver on pass plays.

Mac's story is awesome. Just put his head down and worked his arse off with no guarantee that he'd ever get on the field as a starter.
