Verge: We all agree on BK. Keep it to yourself you want him to get hired again to help with contract offset. Nothing good comes from airing his dirty laundry.

BK has no interest in working again. Hammer away at his arse.

Making the playoffs energized the boosters and it’s working out amazing right now

Maybe so, but a lot of fans are still on the fence with Elko, particularly with how they looked offensively to end last season against Texas and Miami.
They’re trying to stack elite DB’s and DL in every class and are willing to pay top of the market to do so. However, their mediocre offensive recruiting and lack of a proven play caller are the albatross around their neck. Elko must think he can win games 7-3.
Jay is a great coach but he’s been awful this year with roster construction and in game management. Two things can be true.
We’ve had only a CB, S, and slot receiver/KR selected through the middle of the fourth round. The talent on this team was no where near what anyone thought prior to the season, especially up front on both sides of the ball. In year 4 of the Kelly era, nonetheless.

It’s easily the worst in the big 3 in 50+ years, certainly in most of our lifetimes.

I can’t think of a worse one. They better get their shite together in the big three if they want money to keep being donated from boosters and fans. No one wants to support losing programs.
That all sounds great, but if Duke outbids us (which they do for someone they want), I doubt Graves is taking a hometown discount. Particularly with Duke’s tradition of having players selected in the first round and their brand.

Some guys just can’t stay healthy. Unfortunately, Thomas seems to fit that mold so far during his time here.
Not if Duke really wants him. They’ll pay whatever is needed to land players.
Jhase Thomas seems like a good candidate to at least cross train. His pops made a living playing corner so I’m sure he could be serviceable if needed there.
Hate it for the kid. The CB room was already pretty thin to begin with.

Another family who just wants something handed to them. Then they’ll wonder why Bella isn’t equipped in the real world when some adversity hits her life. Parents need to stop crippling their kids with this bullshite and encourage them to earn something.

The push off foot is literally the best of the two options to have that injury on.

No it’s not, but if you’ve convinced yourself of this, then by all means keep posting this.

Less chance of re-aggravating it once he’s full go again.

Again, not true. Ask any right handed QB which leg they prefer to be healthy and they will tell you their right leg. I could get into ground reaction forces and force generation principles, but I’ll spare everyone the physics lesson. The front foot is basically just a guide to make accurate throws. If Leavitt or any QB gets hit on the front leg while planted after a throw, the knee is at much greater risk for injury.
I’m speaking purely in terms of power generation to begin the throwing motion. It 100% starts with the back foot, in Leavitt’s case, the right foot that he injured. If you get hit from the front side, the knee will absorb most of the force, (the Tom Brady injury) which caused the NFL to change their rules. Leavitt’s right foot is also the foot he will push off from to tuck the ball and run.

That’s his push off foot too right? Better to have that injury with push off instead of plant.

The opposite is actually true. Your power comes from your back foot to start your throwing motion, much like a pitcher pushing off from the rubber.

More big Gov’t BS from the Repubs and Pedo.

Way to tell us you don’t understand politics. Also, the current model in college athletics needs sweeping changes. The pay for play model isn’t sustainable for 90% of schools and that’s a problem.
Every coach and booster in the country have been begging for this. College sports need someone to initiate change because the whole system is going to implode at this rate. The players and lawyers are the only people who disagree with any type of regulation.
K didn’t take after his mentor Knight when it came to paying players. He was paying as much or more than anyone for players for 30+ years. Scheyer is doing the same thing with their wealth of alumni to draw from. Cal, Self, Roy Williams, Mark Few all did the same. It’s a dirty game and they all played it at the highest level.
You think Lew Alcindor traveled across the country from NYC to Westwood because he liked the weather?
Elko is a great defensive coach so no surprise they recruit well on that side of the ball. He’s totally dependent on coordinator hires on the other side which will make it tough to attract and retain high level talent.
