Georgia ain't getting that far with a backup QB.

If it occurs, at least it would happen after both teams won several games against other good foes.
Unlike when bammer sat home and waited for an LSU team that beat them in Tuscaloosa to win an SEC championship game first.
That was way more egregious.

It's a pro league now, we have no choice but to get use to it or exit.
All of the school admins have gone all in on the NFL model. Fan bases can fully embrace it for the pro sport it now is (like the players have) or go pick their favorite G5 program. There’s no 3rd option.

It could happen. I hope it doesn't. It would be too much to take.
Texas improved in the 2nd game and could have won it.
Who knows how much they would improve by the 3rd game with Georgia QB2 in and Sark and Ewers getting yet another chance.
How depressing would it be if Texas wins only 1 of 3 games where it would be the only game these two play against each other that counts.
The other two would be forgotten completely.
That would be a horrible gut punch to Georgia fans
I do not want to see that matchup again, not much doubt in my mind that tx would lose again

How freaking awesome would it be to beat Texas 3 times in a single season, including the SEC and national championships?
It would be great.

He holds the record for TD passes, but is near the top for yards, as well.

Impossible to predict this uga team, other than they are tough and perseverance is the key trait they display.

Texas is probably the third most difficult potential opponent for UGA in the finals. I'd take it if we face them again.
And while it would suck for UGA if they lost to a team they beat twice earlier for a championship... it would also suck a lot for Texas if they finished with 3 losses and all three of them were to the same team... the national champ.

Texas only needs a field goal.
You scored 30 the first time.
Next you scored 16.
You're on track to score 2 points next time.
That may be oversimplifying it

You could be right, but I know you're wishcasting here. For reasons OP pointed out, you want no part of a 3rd game w Texas.
Welcome to the SEC. Texas fans are gonna fit perfectly in the little brother mold. Beat 'em once, they're talking tough the next day. Beat 'em twice in a row, they're talking tougher the next day. In about 8 more years, you guys will be right up there with Auburn and Tennessee, telling everyone who's willing to listen about your grandiose plans for dominance.

Maybe you should worry about Clemson first....

UGA and SEC fans, don't let the trolls tempt you to hate Texas fans.
UGA beat us twice, stopped the run game, and while Texas could have won the SEC champ we absolutely should not be favored against UGA again this season unless Beck is out and their backup struggles big time.
I would put UGA -3 to -5 in a rematch.

Game 1 - Georgia 30 Texas 15
Game 2 - Georgia 22 Texas 19
ChatGPT predicted a hypothetical 3rd game.
Game 3 - Georgia 14 Texas 23
The math works..
Game 4 - Georgia 6 Texas 27 (in Athens next year)
Either way, people are going to get real tired of Texas playing Georgia.. Perhaps there should be a no rematch rule in the SEC Championship Game when teams have the same record? For example, this year..
1 Texas 7-1
2 Georgia 6-2
3 Tennessee 6-2
Texas plays Tennessee because they already played Georgia. I would have rather not played this game though.. and I said it before the game as well..
Even though both teams would love the chance to play for a NC, I'm guessing there isn't anyone who wants a Texas vs Georgia NC. Texas doesn't want it. Georgia doesn't want it. College FB fans don't want it. On top of all that.. if they played again.. it would be in Atlanta again..

Good post.
I’d say if Texas can beat Clemson, az state, Ohio state/tennessee/oregon, and THEN UGA? Kudos for a well earned natty

I know if it were Alabama, they would claim another National Title if they beat a team 2/3 times.
