Yes
Or, our 280 pound fullback with hillard (240+) running back. Ouch.
Oline is the 2nd biggest in the sec dehind Georgia as well

So Julio made PP7's arse do what, exactly?

I honestly dont know. I'm not the one making comparisons by the size of players. Im just pointing out where his flaming logic is flawed. I think it will be a great close game. Just tired of the useless stats and flaming!

Exactly. That's what BamaFan doesn't understand. Our HUGE Offensive line will open the initial hole followed by Copeland followed by Ware/Hilliard. That negates the Bama LBs.
Then, you have Ford/Sheppard for speed and change of pace.
LSU IS going to run on Bama. I'm predicting 200 yards.

How'd that work out for you last year? Please provide details on size and weight of your OL and RB last year that couldn't shove it down LSU's throat.

Who cares? Are either Julio or PP7 playing in this game?
Typical Bama fan. Living in the past.
And, I don't expect you to know this, but PP7 was diagnosed with a condition that caused cramping. He has since been able to address it and is fine. Actually, he was okay last year after they figured out what was going on with him to cause the cramps.
So, no, despite what you want to believe, it was not Julio that caused PP7 to have cramps.

The reason our numbers are not very good
Actually, our numbers are very good, but I think I know what you meant (in reference to Bama's). The reasons are exactly as you said, including:
1.) We run heavy and chew up the clock.
2.) We get out in front and basically shut the offense off and start grinding out the game.
3.) We have played tougher competition.
4.) When we get up, and go conservative, our defense stays on the field, and other teams start to win the "stat war."
5.) We don't care if we go 3 and out, or the defense gives up some yards/first downs, if we are up by 30+ late in the game.
LSU imposed their will on everyone they've played.

good thing PP7 is out of eligibility. 0 quitters left on LSU, 1 left at Bama and he has girl hair.

How about if we(LSU) cover you are never allowed to post on this board AGAIN? and the same with me if I lose. deal? ok, now i need admins or somebody to save this and administer it when it happens to either of us. Please accept this bet gump. you have to win by 11 or more if you give me a +10 per your post above. We have to lose by 9 or less or win for me to win. if Bama wins by exactly 10 the bet is a push and nobody leaves. DEAL?????????? crimson chin, still waiting. you like talking smack but do not want to back it up eh gump? Please do not be a coward. Let's do this since you are so CONFIDENT!
where did crimson chin run off to?
If he is so confident in his smack talk why did he not accept my wager offer?

THIS.
Our philosophy is different from Alabama. For example, LSU was beating Auburn 42-3 midway through the 3rd quarter. We shut it down at that point. Auburn had like 150 total yards and then tacked on that TD drive at the end with about 2 minutes to go.
That has happened all season.
Randle did not catch a pass in the second half of the Auburn game. He was done at halftime. Our stats would be much better if we were going full speed for 4 quarters - we have not had to do that in a single game all year.
We'll do it next Saturday, though.

ok so your OL is bigger than our DL...possibly, maybe--congrats, but we are just as big and better than anyone you have played thus far. But guess what? They aren't 4 of them, we have 8-9 of them who are awesome. When Wing punts the ball inside the 20, are you telling me that you are going to consistantly make 80+ yard drives with a 8 man rotation at DL with a QB not as good as last year, and a RB duo that's not even close to last year along with having no Julio Jones? Sure you'll gash us on some runs, but for 4 quarters? We have fresh legs rolling in ALL the time!!
As far as offense, we are a lot better. More playmakers on O along with better play calling this year. If poole ran on you. Imagine what hilliard/ware/ford are going to do while we rotate 3 FB's.

This team has not been challenged yet this season. After the first quarter of the Florida game, the players looked disinterested and didn't really care. They looked board and miles basically shut it down in the second half.

Did anyone provide a link to Bama's measurements? Or did the only non-flamer in this thread get ignored?
Oh well. I'm sure they are huge. I was just curious as to specifics.

I grow up in Bama and have been a fan all my life but honestly threads like this sometimes make me wish I liked another team.

Maybe the Tide can top their stellar running performance against Tennessee last week
143 yards and 3.8 YPC

BamaFan got beat down in this thread and left.
The more of these little spats that I see as the game approaches, the more that it is obvious that the significant factors favor LSU in this game. If we play our game, we will win handily.

After seeing them in person id say...
Ryan Baker-6'0 220
Kevin Minter-6'1 225
Karnell Hatcher-6'3 220
Lamin Barrow-6'1 230
Tahj Jones-6'2 210
Stefoin Francois-6'1 218
Tall, great muscle to fat ratios, and very fast
