No shite he wasn’t going to burn the building down literally but he’s implying he’s going to do irreparable harm to the program which is just as bad! Don’t diminish his words. People know damn well what he’s implying.

Yeah that was dumb AF. If he doesn’t fire her then he’s likely not in this situation. Should’ve just dealt with it or moved her somewhere else. Hell they probably would’ve been back to messing around within a week or so.

Kelly isn’t Kiffin and won’t be telling recruits that call to make an appointment either. Any other hungry coach worth his salt in recruiting could make in roads in New Orleans using other methods.

The difference is the defense here is ALL Baker. Any DC under Kirby you have to wonder how much of that is Kirby vs Schumann.

I think Baker could drastically improve his defenses by working with Kiffin for a year or two. We all know he can struggle against certain offenses and this would be the perfect opportunity to shore that deficiency up.

I sure hope it’s not the case because if it is then he has to be removed immediately. You can’t play those kind of games with recruiting against your own team.

Lane himself said Frank would continue coaching the team through the bowl game. No way he’d be doing this and still be coaching here. Has to be someone else

The point is that the whole landscape of college football has and is changing and we just hired the best guy out there to handle it. Not only did we just get an elite offense but we also got a mastermind at handling the portal and recruiting. MASSIVE hire.
