re: Bo Jackson vs. Herschel Walker

Not specific to the topic, but ESPN Sports Science was a highly analytical show that would dissect game film and even tested some active athletes in an athletic lab test setting. They had a competition for the Best Athlete of All-Time: Bo Jackson- 1st place He beat Jim Brown (2nd place) in ...

Herschel was the more durable football player but Bo was more electric and agile, shifty. See the number of college carries and yards per carry in college for reference. Herschel Walker in 3 seasons 5259 yards, 994 rushes, 5.3 yards per rush Bo Jackson in 4 seasons 4303 yards, 650 rushes...
Heard that Henry Ruggs and Devonta Smith have both looked good and very explosive. Also heard that Ruggs set the Bama football GPS speed record during a recent session where his speed reach 25 mph. ...
I agree with Remaster. Julio is one of the greatest recievers of all time, but in terms of college, when comparing the two, both have decent arguements. If I were making them on NCAA 14: Julio: Catch: 75 Spectacular Catch:99 Catch in Traffic: 90 Speed: 89 Route Running: ...
Bama head trainer just leaked freak secret freshman speed of 25 mph A 10.12 100m dash in an NCAA sanctioned track meet is a faster time than any other football player in the league has posted in their life. That was Tony's personal best for what it's worth, but it's still better than anyon...
You really are a glutton for punishment over on BOL. They really don't like it when you post.
A lion does NOT concern himself with the opinion of sheep! You can quote this on BOL.......Better yet, I will do so the next time I post there. My LinkedIn profile is in my s...
Ruggs ran 10.42 a couple (2) weeks ago. State Meet is coming up in 5-6 days. 40 yard dash and 100m times are not perfectly correlated.....but guys that have run 10.4x in high school are the guys that have run 4.2x/ low 4.3x at the NFL Combine. Dri Archer DeMarcus Van Duke The CB from Minn...

Ruggs is the best "athlete" I've ever seen in Alabama High School Sports over the past 30-35 years. Kid is SUPER-explosive. 41 inch vertical, 4.35-4.38 speed over 40 yards and some of the SICKEST dunks you'll see in high school basketball games. He's the best player on his high school baske...

Weed is not a big deal UNLESS you're Randy Gregory who has been suspended more games than he's played. Regardless of your personal feelings towards weed.....if you pee positive in the NFL you are suspended. I won't get into details but story is legit. I'm sure more credible info will come out as ...
Watch the videos. You don't see many 5'11"- 6'0" college/NBA players with his hops and catching alley-oop dunks. Kid has great explosion and agility along with hands. He starts at guard for in the #2 high school baskteball team in Alabama....they are ranked #21 in the nation. On the 2016 f...
IS Ruggs similar to Kenny Bell? Seems they are about the same size/skill set.
Ruggs is more of a hybrid of John Ross/Percy Harvin/Brandin Cooks type athlete..... 2016 Senior Football Highlights https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LcEwH6KqxMI 2016 Basketball Highlights http://ww...

re: Track & Field Update(MH looking Good)
Some will argue coming out of the blocks nets a faster start than from a slow jog waiting for a handoff. Not to mention out of the four MH was not training all year for track. Both Brown and Hump have been doing really well in sprints but yet have a higher ceiling in hurdles, their specia...

Arian Foster isn't elite at any 1 particular aspect in terms of being a RB but he's put up good numbers for several years....
We're gonna land Bryce Love imo. AK/Bussey/Love is a hell of a haul.
Love will likely come down to Stanford or Tennessee. Close call as Love is a 4.5 gpa student taking advanced placement courses. Kid also ran "4.30" electronic SPARQ 40 yard dash and displays it on the field. Lot...
Makes no sense to include what Julio has done in the pros when making this decision.....given that Amari has not yet had the opportunity to show what he can do in the pros. Based on what each displayed at Alabama.......Amari Cooper would be my selection. ...
I'd go Cyrus Jones or ArDarius Stewart...perhaps Bradley Sylve on KO returns. Chris Black would be a solid option on punt returns. Speed guys- KO return Shifty guys- Punt return Maybe it's just me but I think Marlon Humphrey is/was a bit overrated. He has elite straight-line speed but he...

re: Jones>Henry

Let's not get ahead of ourselves here.......as Jones and Henry bring different attributes to the table. I will say this........Drake, Henry, and Jones are 3 different types of RBs and probably the "paradigm" on how you should recruit the RB position in order to have players that complement each o...

re: Derrick Henry a bust?

Posted by Remy74 on 11/23/14 at 8:33 pm
Henry needs to work his lower body to strengthen his posterior chain (glutes and hamstrings). He's 1 of the few top RBs that doesn't have a muscular posterior chain.....and this is why he lacks elite burst and power in terms of the inside running game. He has the ability but needs to realize t...

re: Predict the RB depth chart next year

Assuming everyone takes care of business off the field during the offseason. -Henry and Jones will be the traditional 1-2 RB punch -Drake will be used in an All-Purpose role....more like a Percy Harvin in college. Similar to how he was used this year but with more touches. ...
