Clayton made that team. It’s not easy to repeat. Perhaps sweet 16 is in the cards though

We are trending up in almost direction. Tough loss this weekend but beating Arky and especially Texas will make up for it. Aggies will be a war. Lebby looks legit.

I think I'm gonna pull for Vandy the rest of the year just so I can watch the Vandy Pimp do his strut every week.

If Ags can pull everything together in a single game, we could be really good and possible to beat just about anyone. We are yet to do that, and no indication it will happen, so still expecting the annual roller coaster.

We knew what Bama could be and had the talent to be. DeBoer has recruited very well but I still don’t know because Bama has lacked consistency it seems for the last 4 years

We have a coach that can’t put a complete team on the field

Before the season started, I really thought the Texas/UF game would have playoff implications. Now, this game will come down to whose QB can hold off a tragic, public and complete mental breakdown. It's basically a coin flip.

That said, take the under on a prop bet for combined rushing yards in the Bama vs LSU game.
That game could be a similar game to those we played 10 years ago. Lots of defensive plays. Bama looks competent of offense and Simpson is good. LSU might figure it out but I'm losing hope.

Until proven otherwise I think Alabama is the same team we were last year but with better QB play. We can lose to anyone and we can beat anyone. Not enough consistency.

We MIGHT be good enough to beat Vandy. Or not.

UGA ... 9 - 3 is the best I see...
Still have Ole Miss, ut and gt. AU and UF should be wins...
Without some improvement on the O line, secondary and somehow remembering that the game starts in the first quarter not after halftime 9-3 is the ceiling. 7-5 ain't out of the question. UT and Ole Miss are going to be fist fights and GT is for real. Auburn and UF are also going to be tight. If the correct the slow starts, something they have not done since 2015, 11-1 is possible. Correcting the secondary woes should be fairly simple as Smart is a savant in the secondary. The O line is not even serviceable and wasn't last year. Slow starts and poor line play is a sure fire way to lose a lot of games in the SEC.

I think we are pretty good (except the secondary). I say "think" because we haven't had much chance to really prove it. We have played 2 pretty talented QBs, but neither had much support around them. Both of those games were really weird. The completely lopsided stats would indicate dominance, but due to the aforementioned secondary issues they were closer than they should have been. We have also gotten a bit fat on 3 very fluffy cupcakes. That all changes after the bye this week.
