Of course it is hard to tell because of the competition, but UF looked much better vs McNeese at home. That is about as positive as I can be right now without the use of sarcasm.

A healthy Ole Miss will be a problem for every team they play but the depth is really thin at too many spots

I wish we played Grambling week 1 and FSU week 2.

Defense looked good but offense did not.

Happy to come away with a win.

Carson Beck is as advertised.

He still has question marks for 3rd down and redzone (those were question marks coming into the season for him).

But he will put up a ton of stats. With the talent around him and the defense/coaching, we look good.

Safeties are as advertised.
Linebackers are developing.
DL is still a question mark (we haven't played a good OL yet. They look good, but we still don't know anything).

Joe Milton is a liability and the hurry up offense is just hurry up and punt with him at qb.

LSU still not looking great, but we have hope again. FSU looking like a national contender. Divisional competition also struggling. Wins over state and arky might throw us back into the top 10, and beating state and arky isn't that crazy. This team will improve and I think 8-10 wins is looking more likely.

We gave a better qb to run this offense but he doesn't start.

Dawgs' run game is still a work in progress. We've had several key injuries that have us getting creative in the rushing attack. One of the WRs running for a TD, RBs catching TD passes. Dogs and cats living together. Mass hysteria.

ETA - For much of the hand-wringing by some of the fan base about the offense, we scored 45 in a game where Bowers had 1 reception for 3 yards and McHonkey is still nursing a back injury and didn't play out of precaution. Dawg O is going to be fine.

Defense has made a lot of progress, OC needs to be shite-canned.

We did this last season, too.

Ladd McConkey had 2 rushing TDs. Brock Bowers had 3.
Kenny McIntosh had 2 receiving TDs. Milton had 1 last season.

The offense finds the mismatch and attacks it with regularity.

Absolutely. I figured other fans might not be following as closely in previous seasons.

too early to tell. Freeze seems determined to frick up the offense with a 2 Qb system so it will take a few weeks for him to stop with his insanity, otherwise we be fricked!

Defense looked very promising. Thin at LB and our secondary is banged up. OL looks good and we have skill players all over the field. special teams is great too

If we can figure it out on offense then we are in for a decent to good season
