Absolutely. I figured other fans might not be following as closely in previous seasons.

It definitely was a preseason question mark (losing James Cook after 2021 and Kenny McIntosh after 2022).

I'm not sure many predicted Cash Jones to be lined up on the sidelines against a linebacker to get the go ball.

Carson Beck is as advertised.

He still has question marks for 3rd down and redzone (those were question marks coming into the season for him).

But he will put up a ton of stats. With the talent around him and the defense/coaching, we look good.

Safeties are as advertised.
Linebackers are developing.
DL is still a question mark (we haven't played a good OL yet. They look good, but we still don't know anything).

No idea why this got downvotes. Good info.

Plus side? I am fairly certain we'll be one of the first universities jumping on the head coach carousel.

Offense will score a good bit this year, thank goodness b/c of the D. I do think that unit can improve though.

LSU defense is horrible. We have no secondary or linebackers. The offense will have its work cut out for it trying to outscore because of lack of defensive help.

A-. Liked how we controlled the LOS, playcalling, QB play and overall poise on the road. Didn’t like the drops and missed assignments. Got to clean those up.

AD Mitchell is going to haunt the dreams of Tide fans for years to come. He's done it in two different jerseys, now.

I'm happy we beat a good team in a tough environment, but the offensive line was porous and I am skeptical if those problems can be resolved quickly (or at all). Our defense tightened up in the second half, but we did not get Tulane's best game (their QB was out). It was nice to drill a 56 yard kick to ice the game, though, which was the longest field school kicked by a Reb since 1988. We don't normally make those sorts of field goals. Punting is atrocious, but what else is new?

Defense is aggressive and can make plays against the level of talent that we’ve faced but we haven’t been tested. OL looks like crap - very disappointed with their lack of effective run blocking. At this point, I hope that I’m proven wrong. But I can’t believe how bad our OL has looked in the run game the past two games.

We are not where I thought we should be in year 3 of this coaching staff. Not a happy camper. At all.

too early to tell. Freeze seems determined to frick up the offense with a 2 Qb system so it will take a few weeks for him to stop with his insanity, otherwise we be fricked!

He did this year 1 at Ole Miss as well.

For the first time in a long time, our defense looks to be better than our offense.

I don't think any offensive line in the West looks good at all.

Bo Wallace was the starter in 2012 from day one.

Georgia fans are grumbling about the run blocking.
Lots of inside zone and trying to play man ball (often against stacked fronts or downhill defenders).

We've tried so little Gap scheme / power, some are questioning if we can do it effectively.

Mine remains the same:

RB is a concern (give me more of the Freshman 0 and Dillon Bell).

Offense got off to a slow start again.

Secondary is probably best we’ve ever had and especially good at the safety spots.

Yeah but he still ran the Brunetti packages multiple times a game, especially in the redzone.
