How do you watch that game and say he attempted to wear down Bama's defense? He never tried to pace it and threw downfield a ton.

Because he's a goddamn idiot.

May be you dumba__ es missed Gus 101, when he described the purpose of his offense (HUNH). So, he got lucky last year. This year, Bama and the Dawgs showed other teams how to jack-up tiga arse. Luck and karma only works for a little while. How many coaches is your team going to go through before the light goes on and you have to play all three phases of the game!

when these type posts are made, with so many words and trying to sound so intelligent, it always shocks me how uninformed they are

this post is completely based on preconceived notions of Gus's offense that are not accurate. we barely went HUNH this year...let the play clock go below 10 seconds a frick ton

Maybe you're just too big of a dumbass to watch a football game and make an intelligent comment about it. I know what the purpose of the HUNH is and he didn't really run it Saturday night. Thanks for your "input" though.

Agreed, especially the one above you who keeps on like he has it all figured out. It's amusing at times.

It's unreal how some just spout off boiler plate arguments that don't even fit the situation at all.

They don't care if their team allows points because that just means they get the ball back quicker so they can score again. It's an ignorant way to watch football IMO.

You guys have fun trying to stop Winston or Mariota from passing and running all over you. Winning the weekender bowl is better than getting knock off in a playoff. If you make it past Mizzou. The odds of Saban winning against 3 ranked teams in a row are slim to none.

Winning the Weedeater bowl is better than winning an SEC Championship?

Interdasting.

It's really weird that after beating Auburn and moving toward the playoff, Alabama is desperately trying to damage GM's reputation. Bizarre really.

Nope but we were talking about bowl games. Bama fans tried to down play Auburn winning it last because we didn't win the NC. But of course the rule change when it involves Bama.

They are just out in full force to convince themselves we won't get a good DC and if we do there's no way we could have a good defense. If they can't convince the unstable ones there will be mass hysteria.

Hiring good coordinators is a function of the HC position. Failing to hire quality personnel is a failure of your HC. Only a retard would miss the correlation.
The criticisms of GM are warranted because as we learn more about him the less we are finding to respect and has nothing to do with anyone wanting to damage his reputation...like virtually everyone in CF has attempted to do to Nick Saban.
