his college choice came down to Ohio State and Auburn, but I still don't like it.
So you can probably add the negative shite Coach Cryer put in Jackson's ear about Auburn while recruiting him to the UF/Cam stuff and it all adds up to "No Ohio State transfer".

Also rumor has it that Jackson was lazy in practice, lazy in off-season workouts, and pretty much lazy all-around.
That kind of effort doesn't buy you a lot of good will walking out the door.
Nice info, but I also have a question regarding it.
If that's true, why restrict him from going to Ohio State?
Sounds like a "good riddance" situation to me.

Because frick em, that's why.
Meyer wants to be petty, two can play that game.

Auburn is being petty and playing with the kid's career. Auburn shouldn't worry about tOSU because Auburn isn't making the playoffs and tOSU won't be playing in some crap Cap1 bowl or wherever Auburn usually plays.

How are we playing with his career? If he's NFL caliber he can still make it there from D3.
He said he wanted to go to South Carolina anyway, and what team allows transfers within their own conference? Nobody.
And as discuss already if he wants to go there so bad he can still do it through other means. He's a freshmen, there's still time for JUCO

So there are now only two Div 1 teams in the nation?

Jackson probably called Urban when he found out he wasnt in the two deep and tried to secure a spot for next year.

Sounds like the kind of player I'd want infecting another teams locker room.

OSU and Aub have been in some pissing matches lately. Former OSU cb Jamaal Dean ( choices down to OSU and Abby) had a chronic ACL and OSU would not mediaclly clear him. Dean ended up at Aubby who immediately cleared him and said OSU/Meyer were just doing this for roster management. Dean has since hurt his ACL again and is done with football. Hopefully he won't have a lifetime problem.
Jackson would probably like to come to OSU...OSU might let him walk on. Just like the disgruntled Bama center who transferred and walk-on to OSU..he never saw the field

ETA: He did tear his ACL, but he is not done with football. No idea where you got that from.

In most cases I couldn't argue but you know when I say 15-0 Ship!
That is just a man reporting facts on the 2017 CFB season. It's best if most grab their favorite beverage and food. Sit back and watch the inevitable unfold.

Because there is the additional reason, as already mentioned, that Coach Cryer was one of the primary sources for underhanded rumor back in 2010 with regard to Auburn/Cam.
On top of the fact that he's a noted and significant negative recruiter and coaches who recruit against him absolutely know what he says because it gets back to them.
So just add up all the reasons.

A coach in the B10 recently insinuated that OSU/Meyer negatively recruits..Meyer called him out and he had to eat his words in public.
You guys kill me..OSU/Meyer does not need to negative recruit. If you think Meyer telling a recruit that OSU>Aubby or Aubby is baby brother in their own state, or a weak sibling in their part of the country..then call it like it is..the truth

Do those other B10 coaches still believe that you stop recruiting a kid once he commits elsewhere? Meyer must wake up laughing every morning.

I get the future opponents thing, but why Ohio State? Any Auburn fans have insight to this deal?
That said, I think players should be able to go where they want. It isn't the coaches lives.
