Have any of the LSU players participated in an actual NFL regular season game?

If not, then this is a nothingburger. Let a kid practice with an NFL team to get some feedback and let them decide if they want to come back or remain in the league.

No. As far as I can tell:
Harris wasn't involved in any football activity, not even a practice.
Wright practiced a few times but has been out quite a bit with injuries and didn't play in any games.
The corner from Utah got injured on the first day of training camp and was released with a settlement.

No neither were drafted or made a team. They are less professional and made far less than most college players. It’s crazy.

None of them have. Their NFL careeers never even began before they were cut. Unless they change the narrative this year, none of them are true NFL players. None of them would've been on a roster.

The going rate for SEC starters is $500k-$1.2 mil/ year.
These guys would not have entered the draft if the ruling came out 4 months earlier.
Most fan bases are acting like we're being back Burrow and Chase.

The SEC should let them play and leave them alone. As long as players meet the rules of eligibility and never play in a regular season game then this is fine in my opinion.

And I probably would have not joined the Army had we invaded Iraq 4 months earlier. Wonder what my Drill Sgt would have thought of this arguement

No, they have not. Only attended minicamps. The biggest problem comes from receiving NFL instruction. I can tell you coaching from high school to college is a huge difference and can affect a player significantly in a short amount of time. A buddy of mine was drafted by the Cowboys and blew his knee out during training camp.
He told me the difference in coaching and abilities from college to the pros is unbelievable. This was back when Tom Landry was coaching the Cowboys. The Cowboys called him while he was rehabbing and said they liked what they saw of him and wanted him to come back the following year. He politely told them, "No thank you."

What you don’t seem to grasp is if a conference cannot stop them from returning then which rules can be enforced or challenged in court? That’s the issue and it’s not going away moving forward

Harris, apparently, wasn't, as he only received a gas stipend.
Looks like Wright made about $25k.
The Utah corner got injured on the first day of camp and got a settlement, so it depends on how you view that.
Even among these three players, they were all drastically different situations.

I'd be curious if that's still the case today, with college salaries being so much more competitive now.

Joining vs Leaving, not a valid analogy at all. And GFY if you are a person joining the army with no intention to serve if the US gets into a conflict after you join.

From what I understand, anyone who participates in a minicamp has to sign a contract. A lot of that just depends on what you define as an actual contract or not, which the SEC failed to do in their haste.
And then there's the entire question of if signing contracts is actually an indicator of professional status, since all of our players are doing that at the college level now.
Feels like it'd be a lot easier to identify a professional by whether they appeared on a regular season roster or in a regular season game, but that's just me.

Signing a contract with a professional team is significantly different than signing an NIL contract with a school. Damn, yall are dense.
