I honestly have no idea what point you are even trying to make.
If that is TL;DR for ya, it is that Robert Neyland did much for the game and Tennessee that isn't quantified by Winsipedia. They could easily claim 1939, but do not do so.

Maybe when someone who isn’t a UGA fan is asking this question.

I'll mark you down as a yes then

Let’s just be honest, it’s Alabama. Alabama is southern football. LSU and Georgia are just Johnny come lately.

I would put UT and UGA the same now. 10 years ago UT was clearly 2.

LSU is a much more accomplished program compared to Tennessee.
In the modern era UT only has 2 titles to LSUs 3 or 4 depending where you want to cut that off and both programs have the same number of playoff appearances. Even if you just want to look at recent history from the 21st century onward then it’s not even a comparison. I do think Georgia has a case now for passing LSU as the #2 program though and will remain there until Kirby retires. He’s on a Sabanesque run and he no longer has Saban in his way to stop him from replicating his success

I always viewed Georgia ahead of Tennessee regardless of recent history and I am a Tennessee fan.

UGA and Tenn were both passed when blowU and Texas joined the SEC.
Nobody gives a shite what you two did against weak competition

It's clearly UGA now.
And since full integration 54 years ago, the Vols are 6th out of the OG 10.

Realistically the tiers are Tier 1: Bama Tier 2: UGA, Tenn, LSU Tier 3: Auburn and Florida If Ole Miss wins another SEC title or plays for the national title, then they move into Tier 3
Ole Miss is NOWHERE NEAR Florida and Auburn

Texas - four national titles
Texas has 1 national title in the modern era lmao
Pretty much since the sport became competitive, Texas has managed 1 natty in the last 50 years and it only occurred on the back of a Herculean effort by Vince Young

I mean…. They definitely have won the Fulmer award the most since Kirby has been there

I’ll tell you who it’s not and that’s LSU.
