I feel sorry for you, dude. You want a rival so bad to validate your team and your fandom but, your application has been denied repeatedly.

Alabama is, and always has been, a national team and lsu has, for most of it's existence, been a provincial backwater team with no nationwide recognition.

Sure. And Vanderbilt is also our rival. They have just about as good a record against Alabama as lsu does.

Seriously, Alabama fans didn't even realize lsu existed, other than as a easy victory homecoming opponent, before Saban arrived there for a few years.

Then, you were forgotten about again for what was it, 8 years in a row until this season.

Tulane is lsu's rival. We just like our Bama Rant message board here. Don't confuse that with Alabama being lsu's rival.
