UA's internal investigation has found no indication that Clinton-Dix has had contact with any agent or agent representative.
Conversation went like this...
Bama: Please tell us you didn't actually talk to this agent.
Ha Ha: I didn't.
Bama: That's good enough for us!

Wow. Coaches paying players used to be pretty serious. The new NCAA will likely not do much about it though. Repay money, fire coach, sit 2-4 games, move on.

Meh. Pretty minor stuff.
Bama has no worries here.

That's what LSU did.

This seems a ton like hicks at lsu. Both player and coach removed from team.
No games vacated, but presumably only because he didn't play. If he recieved money, haha was inelligible, and those wins this year ought to be vacatdd, though they probably won't be.

Not exactly.
LSU fired the coach, never played the player, and forfeited 2 scholarships for 2 years. The player never regained NCAA eligibility and finished his college career in Canada.

they dont ever work that way. you dont get a win for a vacated loss.

I thought I also heard that Ha Ha had already paid it back. Am I wrong?
No, you're not. Clinton-Dix has already repaid the money and has provided bank records to UA showing that he had done just that. It's pretty likely nothing major will happen beyond the coach getting suspended/fired and Clinton-Dix sitting out for a few weeks.
However...this looks really bad from a PR stand point.

Has anyone actually read the article? It was less than $500. Is that not less than what others have received, repaid, and gotten 2 or so games suspension for?

While this is impropriety, it still doesn't actually point to cheating.
