I used to believe there was a good-faith "attempt" to follow rules at UA, but at this point I'm convinced they just don't give a shite. It's something all the time over there.

Really? Seems like UA is handling appropriately right now. Suspend asst strength coach and player, investigate, and cooperate with NCAA.
If true that amount was less than $500 and HaHa repaid, then you're likely looking at a suspension without pay for the asst strength coach and a 2 game suspension for HCD.
This isn't the "bring Bama down" moment that some of you seem to think/want it to be.

Dear God, how can the asst coach be that fricking stupid. He should have been fired on the spot. I don't care if Ha Ha paid him back within a hour, day or week. Stupid Stupid Stupid!
Which coach does not have connections to sports agents? That part is just stupid to put in the article and unless they are claiming the asst coach is trying to get players to sign with the agent for kick backs then say that but to leave it open ended for wide eyed speculation is absurb.
Again, stupid fricker needs to be fired, not put on Admin Leave. His office, locker should have been cleaned out and his belonging dumped in the parking lot by his car.

Once Alabama proves he repaid the loan, he'll be allowed to play. Asst. strength coach fired. Bama self imposes loss of 1 scholarship and moves on.
