So does Alabama go ahead and give back the 2012 & 2011 trophies or do they wait until more of their players are revealed to be ineligible

Nah, that'll come after the enormous HGH/steroid scandal breaks.

The NCAA doesn't forfeit games anymore. They vacate them. Your L will stand as an L in the record books. Our W will just disappear and be replaced by nothingness.

Not to make a mole hill out of a mountain, but the investigation says he didn't have contact with an agent. That received less than 500 dollars and provided bank records to support it.

My guess is Flucker's Bank Account has similar transactions. Agents deal in cash, so do their runners. My guess this is just the tip of the iceburg, if bama is going public with this.

If he recieved money, haha was inelligible, and those wins this year ought to be vacatdd,

Nope, If he had not paid the money back before the games had been played then that might be the case. But since it was paid back before the season he was not ineligible for those games. Sorry for ruining your fantasy of Bama's demise but you will be very disappointed if you believe any thing from the NCAA will come of this or that Bama will have to vacate/forfeit/etc any games

yall realize this will get swept under the rug and Bama will be fine. just how it is. can't let little nicky's team get punished.
The S&C coach will be fired, Ha Ha paid the money back and will be ruled eligible and sit a two game suspension...Case closed...

It's pretty likely nothing major will happen beyond the coach getting suspended/fired and Clinton-Dix sitting out for a few weeks.

that's what pob will happen, but in reality Dix should be ineligible whether he paid back the money or not. Kid at LSU never regained his eligibility and had to go to Canada to play. But he was a freshman and not a starter for the #1 team in the country.

if it happens during season its forfeited and a&m would get the win. if it is uncovered after the season like bookgate then its vacated.

Harris made a short-term loan to Clinton-Dix in an amount less than $500 at some point in the summer, an apparently violation of NCAA Bylaw 16.11.2.2, which states that “an institutional employee or representative of the institution's athletics interests may not provide a student-athlete with extra benefits or services, including, but not limited to ... a loan of money.”

I know reading comprehension is a problem around, but dear God, read the details! You really think this is serious? LSU barely got a slap a on the wrist for having an asst coach PAY THE RENT FOR A JUCO TRANSFER! Why should Bama expect any more? We discovered the problem and turned ourselves in.

They will forfeit games if they are still during the current season.

Since Nick and Bama were so vigilant in finding and reporting this, eligibility immediately restored.

Bama just trying to find ways to motivate themselves at this point. No one can beat them but themselves, and they are trying to find a challenge!

The worst part of this is the fantasies it feeds for the ITAT mindset.
