Working directly under Sandusky. I wonder if he ever questioned why all these little boys were running around the complex.

Do you think sexual abusers of kids just go around boasting about it and showing off their conquest?

Didn’t Sandusky basically take in a bunch of foster children?

This guy was raping them at coaching shower rooms, taking and raping them at toftrees (Where team stayed on game nights) took them to hotels with him for away games. Had them on the field with jerseys. Raped them in the athletic facility hot tub and other spots within the athletic facility.

So yeah, I think he did show it off. He had the kids trained to start counting if anyone would come in, so they could claim they were wrestling.

You crybabies got what you wanted. You successfully torpedoed a pretty successful hire because he wasn't a big enough name. Congratulations, but you can all get off of your moral high horse now.

Kids are always around athletic programs. If you don't actively see something sexual then how the hell are you supposed to know he's fricking kids? I coach baseball and I'm always around youth kids. This is normal for coaches.

To be fair, Rutgers was one of the worst programs in the nation when he took over. He got them into a top 25 program by the time he left. It was a pretty remarkable turn around. That being said, it wasn't a homerun hire.

Adopted and fostered kids.

Founded the Second Mile, to help troubled kids.

In late 90's mother reported Sandusky to police for showering with her son. Sandusky says he won't do it again--- no charges filed.

For Rutgers, that's Bear Bryant numbers.

Id be willing to bet that many people who were around Penn St. back then applauded Sandusky for his work with "at risk kids". They didn't know at the time he was a monster. It isn't even a reach to believe these other coaches didn't "know" or even suspect.

I quoted one's response to another. Both quotes are from the same post, and all I asked for was clarification in case I misread that post.

Go be pissy elsewhere

Yeah. Let’s hire a guy who was 1 game over .500 as a head coach after we let the Butch Jones situation culminate into the worst season in the history of our program lol.

Oh the fanbase hated the last Yankee coach who was universally disliked by players, former players, and members of the athletic department. Let’s go out and hire a god damn clone of him, and do this shite again 5 years from now.

They thought we would sit back and accept it as Florida, aTm, Mississippi State, and Arkansas all went out and hired better coaches.
