That’s the one!
I try not to shite on kids but he has the lowest PFF grades of any LSU player since PFF started grading college players.

You are right that changes everything. We get Banks back finally this week and he ate that center and one of your guards up last year.

Defense solid. QB waaaaayyyyyy less confident and slow to make decisions than one who has been in the system as long as he has ought to be. Offensive line is horrendous

Defense has looked really good, offense has looked really questionable.

Both lines are bigger and better. The defense is solid. The top 2 receivers are really good. Shapen is doing his job. So far, so good.

OL and OC are an issue
Brad Davis and Joe Sloan need walking papers EOY

Elite defense for sure. Not going to give a judgement about the offense just yet. We played extremely vanilla last week, and although they did look bad at times (goal line series at the end of the first half for sure was terrible/OLine in first half), there were some positives to be taken. After next week I can give you a definite indictment of this team.

We suck.
The good is I never expect anything so even with stupid preseason rankings that aren’t deserved whatsoever I can never truly be disappointed.

UGA's defense is very good, possibly elite. Their offensive line is a huge question mark. The RB's are solid and (despite what everyone claims) the QB play is adequate. The problem is the OL gives the QB very little time to throw most of the time, causing him to try to get rid of the ball very quick even when the pressure isn't there because most of the time he has to. The RB's are better than they look because despite penetration happening on run plays they're still putting up decent numbers. The WR's are okay overall, but are not as good blocking on the perimeter as past units have been.
The defense will keep UGA in most games and they'll likely finish with a good record because of that, but the poor OL play will keep them from winning the conference or national title unless it REALLY improves.

MIZ:
-Offense is very good, lots of weapons
-RBs elite, WRs elite, TEs elite
-O-line work in progress but meshing
-Corners are suspect so far
-D-line needs improvement, still not getting enough penetration
-Special teams, huge concerns without Blake Craig,

Arch is going to be just fine. But we’ll keep that our little secret for now.

Defense- good in both week one and two, could rise to elite level but need a couple more games vs elite competition to decide.
Offense- much improved week 2, but green O-line is much better at run blocking vs pass protection. Running backs have been average at best so far, as in not as dynamic and game breaking as I'd like. Tight end has been a nice surprise after what we've lost to the NFL the past two years. Jack Endries so far has at least been as good as Gunnar Helm, probably better when all is said and done. WR is definitely lacking the speed to take the top off defenses, and outside Parker "white lightning" Livingstone haven't shown much consistency so far this year. Then we come to Arch who is taking longer than anyone thought to get his feet underneath him. I never bought into the Heisman hype, but I also didn't write him off after week one either. He showed improvement vs SJSU and I think he will continue to get better, but his overall performance was uneven at best.
My overall take? Any given Saturday we can beat any given team if both sides of the ball have their act together. In spite of the lopsided score this past Saturday, our defense is definitely the strength of our team, and I think 21 points allowed through 2 games is proof of that. That said, any given Saturday we can also be beaten. I mean our defense held the #1 team to 14 points at home which should be good enough to not only beat tOSU, but pretty much anyone..but we lost that game.
