Defensive front 7 are legit SEC talent, the backend is iffy at best. We'll have stout run defense but pretty bad pass D. And if any of those starters go down the depth behind them falls off a cliff in talent and experience.

Offense is explosive, multiple WRs wide open on almost every single play. Taylen Green can take his pick and they're almost all skilled at YAC. Except for 40 year old Monte Harrison, they're all undersized and that will present much more of a challenge in the coming games. Running game and oline look serviceable, oline isn't all 5 stars or anything but are protecting Green well and giving him time to throw. Even when they don't, Green takes off and racks up big chunk plays.

Special teams is solid, we have a great kicker with ice in his veins yet again. Kick return coverage looks suspect and let ASU take one to the house yesterday.

We may have a modestly better version of BK as head coach, but I’m hoping he’s still growing since he has about 16 years to learn before hitting BK’s service time.

Hot take, but Staley might be our best WR.

Once Sanders is healthy the O-line will be one of the best in the country.

D-line depth is the most pressing concern.

Defense - very good. Especially the LBs and safeties.

OL - still in flux and a bit beat up.

DL - good but young.

WR - Branch is a game breaker, Young and the others all pretty good compliments to him.

RB - Legit 3 deep

QB - game still moving real fast for him, could get better or worse.

Overall B- At the moment.

Better energy and effort than last week, but the opponent was inferior. Hope to see Bama keep that energy and effort level against the high quality opponents. Jury is still out on this team and coaching staff.

QB dropping dimes in tight windows.

Receivers do not drop the ball and have plenty of YAK potential.

Top 2 RBs are fast and powerful.

OLine showing progress.

Secondary looks dreadful. Pass rush questionable. Run defense fine.

Kicking game questionable except for punting. Return game non-existent.

Our defense isn't bad at all but... we will gamble with a secondary that is suspect. If teams can fend off our pass rush Arkansas can be gashed for big pass plays. The front 7 looks fine.

The Arkansas offense goes as Green goes. When he is on schedule throwing the ball we'll put up a ton of yards, When he isn't you'll get a lot of three and outs or INTs. Our running game is suspect. Green isn't quite a Matt Jones level threat with his feet but he can roll up the yards. Our RBs, however, have a tendency to miss pass blocks and haven't set the world on fire running the ball.

Special teams are a mixed bag. Our kickers have cannons for legs but our punt and kickoff coverage has been poop. Fix the special teams coverage and our special teams might be the strength of the program.

We are about to start the "Lord what have i done to offend thee" part of our schedule so we will know a lot more in a few weeks.

Put me as cautiously optimistic at the moment.

We are either bored right now or not all that great this season.

If Simmons can cut back the ints, we will be ok.

You might get shut out, but LTech smothered our offense so… might want to take that into account.

We have the worst center in America two years running & that makes it kinda hard to do anything.

Still unknown.

High upside, but lots to clean up. Inconsistent.

I want to believe but have found it's best to temper expectations.

I would like to see someone besides Mateer have success running the ball.

I would like to see someone besides Burks able to get open consistently.

I would like to not see unforced errors especially by the defense.

special teams decent

We got returned on by the Runt Wolves.

Here's the non-koolaid assessment.

The offense might be elite when it's clicking but it's helpless when it's not. And Green will throw a lot of picks.

Our D front might be good. idk. But our secondary is bad.

And, like I said, we got returned on by a G5 team. So special teams is special. Field goal kicker might be good at least.

That said the rest of the conference seems down. So we may do aight.
