It’s true I’d rather play TCU, but that could change.

In the last 4 years UGA has lost 5 games, 2 that were less than exemplary

2019 SC which was unexplainable
2020 Florida, Hurt QB and Trask and Pitts are just some dudes.

The others?
2019 LSU SECC - all time great
2020 AL in the RS- all time great
2021 AL SECC - AL had great talent, great WR, great QB, bad defensive scheme by UGA.

I think the 21 AL game, and this years TN, & LSU game will aid in OSU preparation. Georgia is the best overall team, though they can be beat. I’m cautiously optimistic about their chances.

We can only play the teams that make it onto the schedule. If TCU is the real deal and the Dawgs handle our bidness, then we'll see them on Jan. 9 in LA.

I'd disagree with this.

UGA is not as good as they were last year on defense. They're still a top 10 defense, but not an all-time defense.

But UGA is MUCH better on offense than they were last year by a huge margin. On the whole that makes UGA better overall I think.

There’s a pretty good argument that you should prefer to play the best team in the first game when you have the longer prep time and are freshest. I wish Bama could have played Clemson in the first game in 2016.

I’ll be surprised if Ohio State even keeps it close. If Georgia plays like they did in the SEC Championship game, it will be over by the 3rd quarter.

I may be in the minority but I think TCU is going to be a tough test for Michigan. That team showed a lot of grit in their champ game.

Of the three other teams in the playoff I honestly don't know who I would prefer Georgia play in the first round.

Any team, any time, any where.

The only part that pisses me off a bit is that we played a SECCG with a couple of injuries while Ohio State spent a week recovering.

You are absolutely correct Sir. That said, if you look at it in a historical context, despite all the media hype that, well, the media get's paid to hype", these matchups tend to be blow-outs. I may be wrong, but I don't see anything to suggest to me OSU is gonna be an outlier to the SEC dominance.

If we can't beat them then we don't deserve to be champs.

I wanted UGA to play both OSU and USC. Playing TCU isn't exciting. The Dawgs play their best against the best but I'm not even sure that OSU is a worthy opponent.

Georgia is the only playoff caliber team this year so it doesn’t really matter who they play - if they show up prepared, they will win.

This. There is an ocean between UGA and the other three schools. They should cake walk to this title.

Meh Ohio State is relatively down and Michigan is no better than last year when Georgia boat raced them. The field is pretty weak and UGA had to be ecstatic not to see Bama in the playoffs as that is the only team that would have a shot at beating them.

Bama OSU and Clemson all down equals an easy road for UGA -not to mention the soft SEC East schedule and a cake walk of an SEC champ game. UT was the only good team they played and had them at home and Oregon (LOL) was a home game as well. Also dodged the two best teams in the West in the regular season.

I wish I were as confident. I tend to be a bit negative for big games for some reason.
