Lawsuits will be coming out the wazoo if the SEC members step in and go against a court order that the SEC/CFP have approved to Kiffin. Have fun with that buddy.

A&M will never be considered a real member of the SEC.

I agree with Josh Pate in that this sets a bad precedent.
As opposed to the precedent of rostering pro players?
Additionally, lets just say everyone stands their ground here and LSU gets kicked out. The LSU posters have been discussing lawsuits. As the SEC is a voluntary organization I am not seeing it but I could be wrong.
But what about the venture capital firm LSU got a big check from for 10 percent of their media rights? It would be a pretty easy arguement to make that they have damaged the brand and I think depending on how that is worded that could get really messy.
I think ultimately LSU backs down. We aren't talking a Joe Burrow or Tim Tebow type talent here. These are a couple of role players. My prediction is they back down, but I hope they don't because I think the rest of the conference is serious and the AD's and leadership at the other schools have far less to lose in all this. Heck LSU somehow doesn't have a big historic rival in the conference like a Bama-Auburn, Georgia-Florida, Miss-Ol Miss type deal. Is LSU any team's main rival? I think they would be missed far less than the LSU folks seem to think. Not to say it is a win for the other 15 schools, it would be a lose-lose, but LSU is the bigger loser for sure.

Well I am getting texts from fans saying either LSU shuts this shite down or SEC teams should not play them.
LSU has a lot more to lose than the other 15 and is picking a strange hill to die on.

I have no clue about any of this. Honestly, if the conference wants to kick LSU out after what some of the other members here have pulled, I say Adios.

This never happened.

It's fairly hard to "back down" when they've been pretty clear that they're going to follow court orders and look to the conference for guidance, the entire time.
It isn't like LSU is involved in this lawsuit or anything.

What exactly do you want LSU to "shut down"?
Be specific.

Then why even have the guys practicing. The conference has given clear guidance.

That isn't against the rules, apparently. Perhaps the players are just trying to stay in shape, perhaps they're helping LSU's players. Green did say Wright had already taught him a lot.

If the Tigers are out and the SEC decides to keep a team in Louisiana. Which University of Louisiana team should it be, the Ragin Cajuns or the Warhawks?

Tulane actually did make the playoffs. And their baseball team isn't terrible.

We are actually learning how many people in charge don't even know what they are throwing a tantrum about

Should go after Clemson. Nobody else in the state worth having. Louisiana can become a PAC 12 school...I think they'd take them
