Some, 3rd stringer somewhere in the SEC will do it just to get some interviews (and money) from CNN, MSNOTNOW, The Viewless, etc.
He will become famous and some kind of hero for a few weeks. And, that will be the end of that.
The Media and Democrats seem to think there was no sports before schools allowed African Americans to participate. If they want to go back to that, have at it, it won't bother me at all.

There is no way Coastal Carolina baseball should be "more talented" than LSU Baseball in ANY year.

When I saw McNeese to A @ M, I was afraid we wouldn't host.
Tough regional, but every 16th seed will have a tough regional. We need to at least make it to Sunday.

You have a point. I guess our "hot' streak was opening up the season 8 - 0.
I can see ups and downs thoughout seasons in baseball, but these "Roller Coaster" type seasons is head scratching with Johnson.
I don't expect National Championships 4 out of 5 years, but I expect hosting regionals 4 out of 5 years. And, I expect to be in a regional 5 out of 5 years.
I guess that is asking too much.

McMahon wasn't picked 1st or 2nd in the country pre-season.
Also, it is much harder to win a championship in Men's basketball at LSU than win a baseball championship at LSU.

I'm starting to think those two years they just got hot at the right time.
Wes Johnson is making Jay look like a pile of "you know what". How can a team ranked 1 or 2 pre-season be this bad? I mean the worst since before Bertman.

The "Weather" people were absolutely clueless on this system. During the week, they were saying, "It won't be as bad as last weekend".
It is.
Then, last night they said, "Saturday won't be as bad as today".
It is.
I'm sure tonight they will say, "Tomorrow won't be as bad as today".
Stay tuned.
It looks like it will be like this until Monday Night, when the "cold front' finally passes through. (The front that the Weather people said was going to pass Saturday Afternoon or night during the week)
They have all these models and are still wrong almost everytime there is a stalled front or a warm front that backs up. It is amazing.

Yes, that team that was playing for their playoff lives when they came to BR. We outscored them something like 32 - 2. Yes, that team that needed to win 3 SEC games in a row and nearly did that (with one of those wins against A @ M).

That Georgia team we lost to 7 - 3 beat number 1 seed Oklahoma 10 - 5 after being down 5 - 0, so Georgia is playing very well.
Heck, Even Auburn (who we totally crushed during the weekend) won 2 games in the tournament and nearly knocked off Florida, but lost that one 10 - 9 I believe.
