You are not going to like this Handicap. This article makes it seem DeAngelo is the lead recruiter for LSU Softball.

And, this was written last year, not when Shemiah was recruited or played for LSU, so according to this writer - Beth and the girls and even other LSU team players love him.

I wished we would have won Friday Night, but we don't match up at all against UCLA.
I think UCLA pulls away some in the 4th.

Tori will keep playing as they hope she breaks out of the year long slump, as will Maci.

Then quit blaming just the players. Y'all act like Jay just hit that 3 run homer.
If you want to give him only 10 percent of the blame, that's fine. But, don't act like he has 0 blame so far this season.

He also made another National Championship game - without the "gold mine' from Saban AND with Jordan Jefferson and (forgot the name of the other) as QB's.

I had to get in between him and one of our coach's wife after an Alabama game years ago at Tiger Park because he was going after her.
This happened and LSU Adminstration or Beth still didn't do anything about him? That's pathetic.
One of my baseball coaches was slapped by another parent (from another team) when I was AD. I had to get between them and the guy ended up being arrested and after tallking with the other team's AD, he was not allowed at any sports activities for the rest of the year.
LSU could do a lot more, but - should I say it - they are afraid of the backlash.

Exactly. I still think this was a good weekend for the team, especially after winning the series last week at South Carolina.
Now, we just need to play this way the rest of the SEC schedule and we will host.

If you would have told me Tori and Maci would be two out of our worst 3 hitters this year, I would have told you we would have a terrible losing record.

I'm not saying "Fire" him. I'm saying, he has to take some blame for what is happening this year. It's not all on the players.

I know what you are going to say,"Those two don't listen to the coaches".
What about, "Maybe the coaches let them do it their way". I mean who makes the lineup?

The main difference I see is that Tori is about 3 times bigger and stronger as Kylee and both have the same number of HR's.
That is pathetic.

How about putting some blame on Jay. He put this team together. And, before someone says,"He's won two National Championships", Les Miles and Ed Orgeron also has National Championships and were fired.
I'm not saying fire him at all, but he needs to take some blame also. He sure isn't "pressing the right buttons" this year. Of course, that can all change if they go on a winning streak soon.

Yeah, now Kylee Edwards has the same HR's as Tori. I'm starting to think Tori is a one season wonder. But, if you remember, her slump started at the end of last year.
It could be that other coaches have learned how to pitch her.

I'm 58 years old. I guess I have a fight or two left in me, but I'm going to keep those for people my age.
And, I'm not going to risk going to jail either or be branded as racist by the news media or social media if I do confront.
The question should be, "Why doesn't someone in the LSU Adminstration confront him?"
I do have to add, I did meet him when his sister was playing for LSU and he was pretty nice. I just thought he was a overzealous family member and once his sister graduated, that it would be the end of it.
I was wrong.

Just seems like her swing is too long, kind of like Bergeron, but Tori swings harder.

These last two weekends have been impressive, I have to admit.
I just noticed K. Edwards has 5 homers to Tori Edwards 6 homers. That is incredible.
Tori is just over swinging, trying to hit the ball 2 miles. With her strength all she needs to do is make contact.

I wouldn't pitch Heavener here. Don't let Oklahoma see her again, we could easily see OK in the conference touirnament. Don't give them extra looks. That goes for CC also.
I agree we should have pitched a 3rd pitcher that OK hasn't seen yet. But, winning one of these games is still huge, especially after the way the Friday Night game went.

I guess he's not married to be going to all these softball games.

They beat us so I wouldn't bring them up this year again unless we play them in the post season.
LSU Softball 3 - 1 over Oklahoma!

Great win! Didn't see this coming especially after last night's ending. This could be a turning point in the season.
Heavener was amazing the whole game, giving up only 3 hits I believe. Should have been a shutout except for a throwing error in the 7th.
If they could win this series it will be the biggest win since winning their last regional or even Super Regional.
