Atlanta has had some crazy politicians for sure...Hosea Williams and Ralph David Abernathy Jr come to mind. And who didn't love the antics of Billy and Cynthia McKinney. Still, they never let a city drown like that Ray Nagin clown you guys let run New Orleans.

Honestly I hope they let them play. LSU losing 5 games with NFL players on the roster is going to be funnier than the Vols paying players to win 3 games a year.

New Orleans is run by ultra liberals.
I can see Atlanta being the same, but not the whole state of Georgia. You have fake Republicans in state office and your two senators are Liberal trash.
Your state as a whole doesn't make good decisions.

You have a Senator that sounds like Foghorn Leghorn. Georgia schools are 17th in the nation. Louisiana is 41st. Louisiana has the highest poverty rate in the nation. You are 5th in violent crime, Georgia is 25th.
As to the schools, Georgia has spent 12 million on Athletic buyouts in the last 10 years (with 6 of that to Richt's staff to bring in Kirby so a pretty solid ROI there), LSU has spent around 90 million.
While we are clearly ahead of you in the electing politicians you don't like metric by all other accounts Louisiana seems to be kind of a $#!+hole.
If Louisiana makes better decisions than the folks in Georgia, why do you not get better results?

Because we used to be run by Democrats and a lot of the old people still have that mind set.

Oh it's changing all right. Looking at the actual data versus your feelings it is getting worse though, not better. I don't care what your politics are, clearly Louisiana is not led by competent leaders.

Well all this kick them out and court stuff is just dumb.
It is actually very easy to fix this and if the SEC cared at all it would be over already.
All the SEC has to do is...
1. Announce a $50 million dollar fine for violating the no NFL player policy. This can be done with a simple vote. Just take it out of the schools payout.
2. This part would be done quietly. Have the SEC corrupt referees absolutely ensure any team violating the rule loses. No court needed.
It is actually very easy to fix this and if the SEC cared at all it would be over already.
