I know that being ranked 15th is better than being ranked 39th.
Damn, SCar is 3-16 against FSU. No wonder y'all are afraid of letting them in.

The SEC does not NEED neither Clemson nor F$U. That's my opinion. And I have not been against expansion and support OU and Texass entry into the SEC.

A school should have to be the conference for 25 years before they get to vote.
Mizzou, A&M, Oklahoma, and Texas haven’t been in the SEC long enough to decide who gets in and who is left out.
I think FSU has a $300 million ACC buyout.

Sorry that grammar was irritating.

No. The SEC needs to stop adding schools or else we will end up with an SEC that doesn't resemble itself. The SEC certainly doesn't need to jump the gun and add schools just because the B1G does.

It's smarter for Clemson to wait and see how the expansion plays out the first few seasons.
I don't see an advantage to going to super stacked conferences with a 12 team playoff on the way. Clemson doesn't lack money and never will.
I think we are going to end up with 4 and 5 loss teams winning national titles due to the stacking.

Aaron Murray said on his podcast that the timer is they would be open to joining the B1G over the SEC.

I'm disappointed that FSU fans seem to prefer joining the B1G over the SEC.

They aren’t in the consortium.

What these money hungry people in high places don't realize or maybe they just don't care. The SEC is becoming so competitive that it's going to eliminate themselves from championships.
Stick with me for a second. We'll be playing 2 or 3 teams every season that can or will make the playoffs while no one else in the country is. The other SEC opponents on our schedules are not a cake walk either.
Limping into the playoffs with an injury riddled roster is not the way to go. We should have stuck with 14 teams.
I predict some schools leaving the SEC at some point. Probably 10-20 years from now

Quite the opposite actually. The SEC Championship will be the de facto National Championship, regardless of what happens elsewhere around the country in the lesser conferences.

But when all is said and done, would y’all say, “we should have gotten them before big10 got them?”

Clemson, FSU or any other ACC team isn't going anywhere unless they can find a way to break the GOR agreement that has the ACC locked down until 2036.
Unless the lawyers can figure this out or they get enough schools to vote to dissolve the league it's a moot comment.
If for some reason the agreement can be broken, does the SEC want the Big10 deep in their back yard recruiting players?

Sankey already said they are done expanding. Where is all this coming from? They can’t figure out how to schedule the 16 teams we have.

Not arguing, just curious. What is your reasoning?

UNC and UVA would be better for recruiting. Maryland would be great for recruiting but is not an SEC school or program. Remove GT from the ACC and the ACC is relegated to a group of 5 at best program simply because they no longer have a presence in Atlanta. FSU made its choice....the SEC has a charter member in the fertile recruiting grounds and TV markets of Florida. The same is true nearly of Clemson...USC is a natural fit for the SEC and when offered an opportunity took and is now firmly a family member. Clemson has had a chance...they chose to go another route. frick them. Just my opinion, won't change anything when FSU and Clemson join and I fully anticipate it at some point, but ideally they made their bed and the upside for them is far greater than it is for the conference. The SEC is firmly established in Florida and South Carolina. Closing off TV and recruting in Georgia by removing Atlanta from the ACC makes better sense as horrible as GT is and no matter how badly they fricked up leaving. Establishing new presence in the mid atlantic region would be ideal...

Sure worked out well for aggy
They aren't part of the keep acc schools out deal in the East.
UK, Georgia, Florida, and South Carolina iirc react as a block toward adding their acc counter parts
