Probably were confused by the hearing yesterday. Your commissioner contradicted himself multiple times.

Explain to me why the Big 10 is not involved in any of this

There was a distinction. I’m trying to be objective, despite the gotcha culture here

Not to mention signing “a contract” is against the rules.
Almost like the SEC should have been a bit more specific.
He signed his contract on a Thursday. Only contracts signed Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday or Friday make someone a professional. Thursday contracts never blurred the lines so he's very obviously still an amateur.

I love that they are trolling the SEC with the Buffalo Bills Logo.

Sankey testified under oath that once you decide to leave school that you shouldn't be allowed back. That is not ignoring what the SEC said.

Then we should do our job and not let this leave the 1st page.
We could even get a sticky

NFL mini-camps are just try-outs. Proper thread title would be Former Buffalo Bill try-out.

Is Mizzou going to get expelled from the league for this?
Hopefully.
I mean......surely we can drum up some reason if this one isn't good enough.

That's good news. I missed when he signed his contract with the Bills. I guess the internet lost that information somewhere.
You are correct you are lacking intellectual information. Just not the information you think.

And not allowed per Mr commissioner as well as actual ncaa rules. Same thing.

Someone posted a tweet that was a direct quote from Sankey on the stand saying that Sankey agreed that he stated that he follows all of the by laws. Then the players' attorney said have you read the 5 for 5 rule and Sankey said "not until today." That thread made it about 5 posts.

No. Yall have just been pushed so far back into a losing position that you're resorting to hyper-semantics out of desperation.
While also sticking up for Texas

By that definition, training camps are just try outs.

Did Hutson enter the draft?

So Harris and Wright aren’t NFL players either then!
Yet, they signed contracts with NFL teams.
After going unselected in the 2026 NFL draft, Wright signed with the Philadelphia Eagles as an undrafted free agent.[11] He was waived on August 10.[12]
Harris was the best available player not drafted in 2026 according to ESPN (ranked as the 63rd-best player and fifth-best defensive tackle). On May 1, 2026, the New Orleans Saints signed Harris as an undrafted free agent.[11] He was waived on August 8.[12]

From live testimony just now in the Pyburn v NCAA hearing:
Mr. Downton: Mr. Sankey, you’ve testified that the SEC follows all NCAA by-laws and incorporates them into your conference’s by-laws, which I appreciate, but did I just hear you say that as the SEC Commissioner, you don’t know what the current NCAA 5 for 5 bylaws that took effect 8/1/26 actually say?
Answer: I don’t. It’s the first time I’ve seen this new manual.
And no one seems to have an issue with this other than LSU fans.

So did all the other players. Again, it doesn’t specify a contract of employment, just a contract.
All mini camp participants sign contracts to receive per diem and medical coverage as a part of the NFL’s CBA.
