Saban is one of the last of the old school coaches. He commands respect from his players. He's one of,if not the only, coaches who can chew the players out and they respond positively to it.

When he leaves we won't see this type of coach again.

But there's one thing you left, they still have a game to play so you might want to wait before you crown a champ for this year.

When I was 18 it was 2004. We were according to everyone else, a bygone program, living off a Dead Bear. I honestly didn't know if we'd ever win a National Title.

Now I'm 32 and we've ruined college football by being so great all the time.

Wrong. It elicits the hope that you too as a fan one day can experience this level of awesomeness. One national title is great... 2 is greater, but a dynasty is what any fan hopes to see. Even if your team never achieves it you can vicariously experience it... and here's the thing... the fact that the suits at the top don't interfere with it gives credibility to the integrity of the process. Saban and Bama's time will end one day. And all sports fans will look back on this era and still be glad they saw it happen, on some level at least.

I wish you all could feel it as fans. Sincerely.

If you can no longer take it there are numerous tall buildings all over the southeast. Find one clime to the top and do the right thing.
Do it for the chicken.

Alabama winning every game every year is KILLING interest in college football. Other regions outside of the south are all in a basketball season frame of mind and could care less about two teams from the South playing each other once again for a national championship. If Saban wants to kill the sport that gave him everything he has as a legacy he can simply keep on coaching his semi-pro football machine. It has gotten to the point where this is not even good for Alabama and it's fans. Who gets excited over winning everything all of the time? Even THIS has to get old. It's approaching that if you've had an erection for longer than four hours, you need to see a doctor thing. For the good of the sport, let's hope Saban does the right thing after this season is over with.

This type of anger acutally gives Alabama fans joy. Calm down buddy....This won't last forever.

Should Dabo reach the same level, yes, fans elsewhere will lose interest. College football is a very expensive operation to field. Loss of fan interest will endanger it at many of the lesser schools and the number of teams competing each year will gradually dwindle to the point where that trophy won't mean anything.

In Alabama we are actually ok if college football ceases to be a billion dollar industry and Natty trophies are mythical. It was like that before and we loved it

It would be better for college football as a whole if Clemson wins the game Monday night.

They won it two years ago.

And here you are, still whining.

Alabama fatigue is stronger than Clemson fatigue. Clemson winning wouldn't be as boring as Alabama winning again, twice in a row.

It’s not bama or Clemson fault. They are doing what they are supposed to do

College football sucks now. Kids aren’t playing as much. Parents don’t want them to play as much. And literally no one cares. Seriously Birmingham has the highest rating of any areas in the United States. Birmingham. Let that sink in. fricking Birmingham. Or Greenville North Carolina

I never thought I’d see the day that college football is basically NWA wrestling

Might as well get tony schiavone to do play by play

Wooden at UCLA didn’t kill college basketball, I think college football will be ok when Saban is done
