Everyone else should look at themselves instead of pointing fingers.
& there you have it. Instead of complaining, teams need to work as hard as Saban and earn a championship.

Most teams want to strut and talk big without the work. They are soft and want everyone to give them a participation trophy, kind of like the soft snowflake democrats.

It will be boring as hell, when Saban is not around to rustle the jimmies.

You are a prime example. You say that you work to make a living yet here you are during work hours posting on a football forum. I am retired so I don't have the same problem. Your work should be more important to you than this. Alabama football has done this to you and you don't even realize it. Those of us fortunate enough to not be Alabama football fans can see this clear as day. You folks can't.

Maybe in your old age you've forgotten that people do have days off. And some people even work in the afternoons. Not everyone works a 9-5 job monday-friday you decrepit frick.

So they do care some...

Others, on the other hand, couldn't care less because have don't have any care to begin with.

What a pile of horse shite ! All Saban has done is
raise the bar---something you want to happen in business,
life and hopefully for yourself. He's given
other programs a higher standard of excellence to reach
and that's a bad thing , it's not fair ? Whiners,
bitchers and moaners over what Saban has achieved need to
get off their arse and join the party.

Alabama winning every game every year is KILLING interest in college football

I'd loved to have him back at LSU, he will go down as the greatest college football coach ever. That being said, I think the OP makes a good point. Having one team dominate to such an extent and longevity is not good for the game.

Either get use to it, or find another sport to enjoy....

That's only partially true. Yeah, sure, people get bored seeing it. But its cyclical. Another team will take over and be dominant and people will get bored of them. There's usually one team that just seems to be at or near the top for several years. Bama in the 60s and 70s. Miami in the 80s. Nebraska and florida state in the 90s. USC in the 00s. Then Bama in the 10s. Eventually it'll change.

Dynasty's end. Its the way it is. Something else takes its place.

It’ll bounce back once Saban retires. Dynasty may continue under Dabo but there will be much more parity. Maybe a natty every 5 years. We’ll survive and so will the sport.

Dabo?

Aint leavin Clemson.

I wouldn't be shocked if he stayed at Clemson. I also wouldn't be shocked if he comes to Bama. Dont forget that he's a Bama alum. That sometimes can be important in a decision like that.

I'm not melting, I enjoy being a college football fan and if I were a Tide fan I'd want him to stay until he dies.

My point is, at this time nobody is able to compete with him. I just don't think that is good for college football as a whole.

Bama fans wouldnt want that. If the rest of the fans quit caring then Bama fans wouldn't have anyone to brag to. It's like teams in sports no one cares about trying to hype winning a NC in it.

I disagree, no team has dominated in this fashion for such a long period of time. In the past there have been dominate programs but not at this level consistantly year in and year out without being challanged.

Maybe not challenged in the consistency of the Alabama program, but challenged during certain seasons during this run. 2013 we got knocked out of a 3peat against auburn who went on to play for the title. 2014 we lost to ohio state who won the title. 2015 was a dog fight against Clemson. 2016 Clemson won. 2017 was a dog fight.

Can't say we haven't been challenged. Just nobody has matched our consistency.

We are literally plays away from not winning a title since 2012. But we are also only a few plays away from having the chance to play for one in 2013, 2014, and winning in 2016.

This is an accurate statement. That being said, it would be better for the game in my oppinion if teams could legitimately challange Saban. The Bama program is far and away better than field with the best coach and players in football. It's usually a fluke when they lose rather than when they win in these situations.

I thought Ohio State with Urban may have been that team. Who knows, like you said maybe another program will rise to the occasion.

Yeah, maybe they are that team, but I'm thinking Bama is going to take them to the wood shed and make a statement.
